      Increases Throttle Response. All 2015-2020 Mustangs are well known for sluggish throttle response. This is because Ford uses a drive-by-wire system that controls the throttle electronically, similar to a dimmer switch. The problem with this setup is that the signal from the pedal has to first be sent the ECU, which in turn then sends the signal to the actuator motor that controls the throttle body itself. This delay is most noticeable when trying to speed up to merge with fast moving traffic or when passing a slower moving car. The SEC10 Throttle Response Controller actually boost this signal to eliminate the delay for quicker, snappier throttle response.

      Six Modes. Unlike other throttle control devices on the market today that only have (2) positions, either on or off, the SEC10 Throttle Response Controller comes with (6) preset control modes for Stock, Eco, Sport, Performance, Track, and Valet applications. This allows you to select the mode that works the best for your own personal driving style and needs.
      • Stock - Acceleration is set to factory defaults. LED is off.
      • ECO - Balances performance and fuel economy. LED is turquoise.
      • Sport - Improves engine response for better drivability and performance. LED is green.
      • Performance - Maximum performance in your day-to-day commute. LED is yellow.
      • Track - Immediate response. Intended for OFF- ROAD use only. LED is red.
      • Valet - Limits engine’s torque and power. LED is blue.
      Easy Plug & Play Installation. The SEC10 Throttle Response Controller connects directly into the stock throttle position sensor found on the drive-by-wire gas pedal using an OEM style plug and play connector with no permanent modifications required. The Throttle Response Controller is 100% reversible and will not leave residual codes on the factory PCM making it warranty friendly.

      Application. The SEC10 Throttle Response Controller is designed for use on all 2015-2020 Mustangs including the V6, EcoBoost, GT, and Shelby models.

        5 2016 GT - My2016GT

        SEC10 FTW

        Wow big difference!! Makes the car respond much better. Sport mode is good if you just want a little better response, works well in traffic, makes it crisper. Performance mode is antoher step up and is better sutied to backroad driving situations where you are on and off the throttle in coners and pushing the car a bit. Race mode is another step up and is also good for backroad driving as long as it's pefectly dry and warm out, be very careful with this mode, the respones is immediate, if its wet or cold and your tires are cold you will spin. This makes the car feel like it has 400HP, like it should. Another note I'm not a small guy (6' 245lb). Installing this was very difficult. I had to do it all pretty much with one hand, upside down, and with my feet up on the head rest, so it took more than 30 minutes and I'm pretty sure I have bruised ribs now. I suggest you get a small friend that may fit a little better have him put it in and buy him a beer for his trouble.

        5 2019 GT - godzilla2084

        Activates the 460HP !

        I've owned all three gens a 2007, 2011 and this 2019 I have installed a bama tune on each of these rides and the 2019 is the only one after installing the tune it didn't take out the lag and I don't believe that they used to sell "throttle enhancement devices" 6 or so years back ? Ford really limited this 3rd gen from taking off the line, with the SEC10 you will feel how this pony was supposed to run! Finally, I am totally satisfied with my new 2019 Stang, you will feel every bit of your rides 460hp I should have bought this as my first mod, in that retrospect I will state the first three mods you should do to your Stang are: 1) Throttle Enhancement 2) Exhaust 3) Tune I like running it in track mode, it can be touchy but nothing beats stabbing the gas and free revving! Instant HP and phenomenal take off, if you've taken your car away from stock, you're gonna need some stickier tires. Satisfied!

        Easy install and you feel the quick response. I drove the car before the install just so I can get a real feel once the install was done. you can feel the difference.

        Excellent Upgrade

        This product is a an excellent upgrade for a 2019 GT. It completely eliminates the annoying factory throttle delay setting. It is perfectly driveable even in the Track (SEC10) mode, just a little twitchy. Install took about 5 minutes.

        5 2017 EcoBoost - PIEOMY


        I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how well this unit works. I use the SEC10 app and leave it set on “Performance “ mode 10 all the time. The pedal is touchy and when I hit it , I get power immediately instead of the lag I was getting. The biggest surprise was the my MPG went from 23.7 to 24.2. I’m guessing because it takes less effort to push the pedal. Only other mod I have is a bigger CAI and combined with this unit , it’s like a different car.

        Doubted the usefulness for a while, but after reading positive reviews I decided to roll the dice. Super happy with the result. Car feels straight up angry all the time. '19 gt pp1 manual trans

      My mustang has a whipple supercharger and has a custom dyno tune. Will the product affect the tune in any way? Can it be used with any car that is not stock tune?

      • The SEC10 Throttle Response Controller will not affect your tune, and will not require any tuning changes. This can be used with aftermarket tunes or the stock tune.

      Hey! If I buy a Throttle response controller and later choose to buy a tuner, will the throttle response controller then be wasted? BR / BengtErik

      • A tune can accomplish the same changes as this controller, however this controller has more on-the-fly adjustments. They can be operated together.

      I have a 2017 Mustang GT Base 6 speed. will this controller void my warranty in any way?

      • The SEC10 Throttle Response Controller will not directly void your warranty, however failures determined to be caused by a tune may have the warranty denied. We recommend looking into the magnuson moss warranty act to understand your rights with a vehicle warranty, and how modifications play a role.
