    After 4 years....

I would think twice about replacing your old visors with mirrors with these...I did because the OEM's cover fell off the passengers side mirror visor where the fabric bends near the bottom. The ones I replaced 4 years ago fell off the visor where the entire (plastic trim, mirror) piece are joined to the visor. Its held in by 8 plastic pegs that are glued onto the particle board thats underneath the vinyl around the visor. Now I'm thinking of replacing it with just the visor now...if my hot glue doesn't hold...

    Quality product

Just installed these in our 1991 5.0 LX convertible. Very close to the originals and well made. Installation is easy as long as a small amount of lubricant is used. They look great and function very well. Pricy, but worth the cost.

    Quality product

I was impressed with the quality of this product. There was a considerable wait to get them (6 weeks) as it sounded like they were made to order. They look and fit great although the de- installation of the previous visors was a bear. I ended up just cutting them off. The new ones installed easily.

    Sunvisors an incomplete product.

The item: 1 No instructions included. Once you have removed a Mustang visor, you will know there were surprises. 2 Top of visor is about 1/4" to 3/8" too long to comfortably replace the stock visor. When installed, the vinyl is bunched up a bit at the outboard and inboard ends of the visor. 3. Just try to insert the visor over the existing square ended rod. Gotta grind a taper on the original rod or it won't grudgingly go on. 4. The is no way to insert the end of the visor into the inboard support. You must buy a 5/16" steel rod, cut two about 4-1/2" sections off, taper one end of each and drive them into the inboard ends of the visors. Then buy a pair of rubber screw end covers, paint em black and slide them over the ends of the inboard support rod. Give a big sigh of relief 'cause now they look finished. Next curse TMI for a half-way product and write a review.

Replaced sun visors on '89 Convertible LX

Replaced the sun visors on my '89 LX convertible. They look great, and installed relatively easy. Suggestion: put some vasoline on the metal visor shaft so they are easier to slide on.

    Pricey but important for restoration

Made well and looks good, tricky to put on at first until i figured it out. Use some kind of grease to lube up the rod,i also sprayed lithium grease into the port of the visor, that seemed to help it get in more, then i used a rubber hammer and banged it in. Final outcome is great

    Easy Visor repair

This was a good project for my 16 year old son. We did both in less than 1-1/2" hours. The weren't exactly like the originals, but very close. They look great.
