Description
High-Performance Wastegate. The Turbosmart GenV CompGate40 External Wastegate; 14 PSI is designed to provide precise boost control in turbocharged engines, ensuring optimum performance and longevity. Used primarily in motorsport and high-performance applications, it manages exhaust gas flow to maintain desired boost levels efficiently.
Construction and Appearance. This wastegate features a durable body constructed from high-temperature 347 stainless steel, with a Nitronic 60 valve guide and 17/7 PH stainless steel springs for enhanced fatigue resistance. It includes a sleek and robust design with strap-type V-band clamps and an optional liquid cooling provision to improve thermal management.
Installation. Installation generally requires some adaptation depending on the setup, but it serves as a direct fit upgrade to all Gen4 Turbosmart wastegates. No drilling is typically necessary due to its easy mounting orientation and 360-degree actuator cap rotation for customizable hose routing.
