      Description

      Track Performance Improvement. The UMI Performance Stage 1 Strip Grip Kit; Black is engineered to reduce track times and enhance consistency during racing by strengthening suspension components for improved grip and control. This makes it an essential upgrade for track-focused 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs.

      Construction and Appearance. Featuring rear lift bars and lower control arm reinforcements made from 0.120” thick mild steel, all components are CNC machined for precision and fully MIG welded for durability. Rear lift bars include solid aluminum bushings with zinc plated steel sleeves and are finished with a durable powder coat for long-lasting, corrosion-resistant protection.

      Installation. Installation takes approximately 3 hours and can be completed using either weld or bolt-in methods, providing flexibility depending on the installer’s preference and available equipment.

      Application. This kit is specifically designed to fit 1979 to 1993 Ford Mustang models, optimizing suspension performance with no compatibility issues.
