      Description

      3.08 Gear Ratio. The 3.08 gear ratio found in this ring gear and pinion kit will boost your Cobra to be faster than ever. It's a smart investment because you won't burn through gas quickly, either, giving you the perfect balance between performance and economy.

      Rigorously Tested For Quality. This USA Standard ring gear and pinion kit was assembled right here in the United States to provide a product that is consistently top notch. Each part is thoroughly inspected and uses hardened steel to ensure that it will last for the lifetime of your vehicle.

      Recommended Upgrade. Using a Speedometer Gear (sold separately) will prevent any annoying inaccuracy issues that might arise from changing your gear ratios.

      Installation. Changing your gears is a very complicated process and professional installation or advanced mechanical expertise is advised.

      Warranty. USA Standard offers a 1-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Some limitations and exclusions may apply. Please see manufacturer's warranty for complete details.

      Application. This USA Standard ring gear and pinion kit is designed to fit all 1994-2004 Mustang Cobras with an 8.8" axle.

      Technical Note. If your Mustang is getting up there in miles, we recommend a master bearing kit. To save money at a reputable shop, you can elect to have your Trac-Lok rebuilt when installing this kit. The general average is around $250-$300 to install it, but you may spend more or less than that.
