VMP GEN II 2.3L TVS Supercharger Head Unit Upgrade (11-14 GT500)

An easy way to boost the horse power and torque of your supercharged snake is by replacing the stock blower with VMP's GEN II 2.3L TVS Supercharger Head Unit with a 2.40 inch Pulley. Installing a VMP GEN II Head Unit on a bone stock GT500 will yield an increase of over 200+ horse power at the rear wheels. New High-flow Technology. VMP's GENII Supercharger was re-designed to fix the short comings of their first generation head unit. VMP capitalizes on Eaton's 2nd GEN Twin Vortices Series (TVS) positive displacement supercharger technology. Eaton's TVS design features a pair of four-lobe rotors that are twisted at 160-degrees to increase thermal efficiency, which allows for larger volume capacity and higher operational speeds. VMP Tuning improves on Eaton's design by integrated the intake plenum elbow into the all new one-piece shell design and by increasing the blowers interior volume for an 18% improvement in airflow when compared to the first generation VMP TVS Blower.

Room to Grow. This VMP GEN II TVS Supercharger will produce up to 15 psi of boost with a 2.75" upper pulley and stock lower crank pulley installed. However it can even handle up to an amazing 23 psi of boost pressure with a 2.4" upper pulley and a 15% overdrive lower crank pulley installed.

Required Upgrade. Installation of this VMP Supercharger Head Unit will require an SCT SF3/X3 or SF4/X4 Hand Held Tuner and a VMP Tuning Supercharger Tune File for operation (sold separately). If you already own a SCT Tuner you can purchase the required tune files here or with the option listed above. If you don't already own a SCT Tuner, you can easily purchase one using the option above that already includes 3 VMP Supercharger Tunes.

Application. This VMP GEN II 2.3L TVS Supercharger Head Unit Upgrade is designed as a direct fit performance upgrade for the 2011 to 2014 Shelby GT500 Mustangs equipped with either the Supercharged 5.4L or 5.8L DOHC V-8 engine.
