    Hey, everybody. I'm Justin with, and this is my review of the Vogtland Sport Springs, available for your '94 to '04 Mustang GT or Mach 1 Coupe and all '94 to '98 Mustang Cobras. A little background on Vogtland. While they were started over 100 years ago by a German, Bernhard Vogtland, who started making springs for toys and horse carriages. Well, fast forward nearly a century, and they've become one of the leading manufacturers for both aftermarket and OE spring applications, and even supply Nascar and other racing outfits with a lot of their products. So now that you know a little bit more about the company, let's talk about the sport springs here from Vogtland and who they might appeal to. Well, these springs are going to be for the SN95 owners out there, guys who are looking to go low with a sizable drop. In fact, the Vogtland Sport Springs here do offer one of the more aggressive drops out of any spring offering on the site for your SN95, dropping it 1.6 inches on all four corners. Only the Sportlines from Eibach are going to drop the car a little bit more in the front. Everything else you'll find here for your SN95 is going to be in the 1.5 or less range. Now, one thing I do really like about these springs is that it maintains the same amount of drop on all four corners. So it's going to maintain that slightest bit of rake your car does have from the factory, and we all know and love that iconic muscle car stance with the front a little lower, and the rear a little higher. Now, besides that tough muscle car stance, what else can you expect from that lower center of gravity? Well, again, you are getting rid of the wheel gap, you're getting rid of that four-by-four stance, so the car's going to look much better overall right away. But again, you are going to be improving different areas of your car's performance. This includes less body roll, equating to better handling, less nose dive under hard braking, and less squat under acceleration. Now, because these things are a progressive race spring, what that means is they're going to be comfortable when cruising around town. Great for a daily driver, but then they're going to become progressively firmer when they do get pushed harder in turns. As far as impact to your wallet, well you can expect the Vogtlands to come in right in the middle of the road. You're going to see the SR options bringing on the low side. All ST and Eibach options are going to round out the high side of the price range. Now, I do encourage you guys to check out the customer reviews on these springs. Check out the customer submitted images, that way you can get a better feel of how these things might look on your own ride, and maybe help you make your final decision. Installing the new set of springs onto your SN95 really isn't all that bad, and it's even easier if you've done it a few times. So for that reason alone, we'll call this one a solid 2 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter, and a few hours in your garage or driveway. Now of course, before getting started, you'll want to make sure you have your spring compressor on hand, and don't forget to grab your knee spring isolators before doing this install, as your factory isolators can become pretty beat up over time.     Performance Handling. Installing a set of Vogtland Progressive Rate Springs will lower your SN95 or New Edge Mustang's center of gravity, which will reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. Vogtland Sport Springs are ideal for daily driving, street, and even occasional track use.

    Lowered Muscle Car Stance. Not only does a set of Vogtland Sport Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve its overall appearance. By lowering the ride height approximately 1.6" in the front and rear, that huge tire to fender gap is eliminated, providing your Mustang with a classic muscular stance.

    Superior Construction. Vogtland Lower Springs are made to strict standards in Germany. Using a cold coiling process these Springs are manufactured from special oil tempered, high tensile strength spring steels, including chromesilicon (CrSi) and chrome-silicon-vanadium (CrSiV) alloys. After being coiled, all springs are tempered, shot peened and preset to ensure consistent ride height and quality. In the last step of the manufacturing process the springs are phosphate and powder coated for superior long lasting corrosion resistance.

    Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

    Application. This set of four Vogtland Sport Lowering Springs are specifically designed for use on 1994 to 2004 V8 Ford Mustang Coupes, including the GT, Bullitt, Mach 1, and 1994-1998 SVT Cobra models. Does not fit 1999-2004 IRS-equipped SVT Cobras. Does not fit convertible models.

    Will these springs work with a 17 inch, staggered 9/10.5 wheel on an o4 gt?

    • Hey jester, These springs should work well with that staggered set up giving your pony a super aggressive look with out having to worry about fitment.

    I am looking for a stiffer spring to decrease body roll. how do these compare the Ford performance C springs for the 2004 Mustang GT?

    • This Vogtland Sport Spring Kit will drop it lower, at 1.6 inches all around, and is much better suited for daily driving when compared to the C-springs. The Ford Performance Lowering C-Springs (item #24006) will drop the front 1-1/8 of an inch, and .75 inches for the rear, however these will be ideal for a racing application.

    • The Vogtland Sport Spring Kit will lower the car 1.6" in the front and the rear. We currently do not offer stock replacement springs at this time.

    What shock and struts are best use for lowing?

    • The Vogtland Sport Spring Kit will work with many different shock and struts. The Bilstein and the Eibach are generally the go-to shocks for the best performance but any shock and strut will work.

      Nice ride

      I was hesitant about lowering my car mainly about ride quality. But these springs paired with bilstein shocks and struts and mm cc plates, my ride has become better with a night and day difference. Not harsh like I thought it would be but eliminated nose dive and squating.

      So awesome

      I absolutely love these Springs. They don't drop the car ridiculously low. They gave my Mustang a nice racy mean look! (Strike a Pose) The ride quality is great the performance is excellent! I paired them with mono tube shocks in the rear and it feels so nice! Instead of the rear end squatting the power moves the car forward instead of down, feels much quicker! Get them you wont regret it!

      Vogtland Springs

      Recently installed Vogtland springs on my 2004 Mach-1. The drop in hight is somewhere aroud advertised 1.5". My car is about 1.7" all the way around. I re used the factory spring isolators. I also installed UPR billet caster camber plates and Maximum Motorsports pinion snubber. The ride is super firm, but i also have Tokico D-Spec adjustable shocks and struts. I have not found the sweet spot yet but they are well worth the extra cost over other springs. I have a little noise after install but it is due to taking all rubber out of front and rear suspension. Over all they are great value and have a different progressive spring rate than all the others. If your looking for the right hight and firm ride, these are a perfect choice for your mustang.

      Impresive Springs

      I have waited about two weeks before I commented on these spring. The opinion is they are a great addition, I have them paired with Koni Yellow Sport Dampeners. The vehicle is a 1994 Mustang GT, the springs are a very solid match to the vehicle. The height is 1.25 inches lower in the front and rear, the stock rake was retained. I highly recommend the springs, the quality and finish are superb. Don't forget to purchase new isolators with them. Yes I would buy them again, No hesitation. Shipping was extremely fast 2 days to Florida, customer service is superb!

      Great springs! Looks good!

      I didnt know if i should get these slrings or not but i took my chances, and oh boy are they great! They lowered the car to almost perfection! It sits nice and fat now. The car handles much better and the chasis does not wobble around much at all anymore. They are powder coated very nicely and actually lowered the car 1.6" all around just like advertised! I highly recommend getting these over any other springs if you drive a 96 body Mustang!

      Phenomenal Springs, amazing handling

      These springs are comparable to the HandR springs. They handle great, and the progressive spring rate is great for daily driving, then even better when you drive aggressively and the springs respond great. MAKE sure you match these with new spring isolators all the way around! They make a huge difference. I highly recommend these springs for any driver, from daily for a good drop to eliminate that wheel gap, even tot the track enthusiast, they wont disappoint!
