      Description

      Fine Tune Your Performance. Superchargers are nothing new to automobiles and can trace their installation back to the 1930s. What is new are all of the lightweight and heat resistant/tolerant materials that have allowed engineers to take supercharging technology and push it to the limit. The folks at Vortech Superchargers have decades of experience and can give you the exact parts to get your supercharging system dialed in just the way you want it. The Vortech 8-Rib Underdrive Pulley Package is one of these part packages that allows you to run your accessories at lower revs so that more power is given to driving the supercharger.

      Engineered to Tight Tolerances. Vortec pulleys are made from 6061-T-6 aluminum and are CNC machined to be perfectly balanced and to very tight tolerances. These pulleys spin at high rpms and it is critical that they be balanced and true. Slipping belts rob power so it is critical that they grab. The 8-rib belt gives more grip and better traction so there is no slipping under load both at idle and when the engine is taken up to speed.

      Installation Notes. The installation of pulleys is a relatively easy and straight forward job, however, care must be taken in the handling and mounting of the pulleys themselves. Never force or use anything to hammer a pulley into place as this could damage the pulley and its balance thus rendering it useless. If you are not comfortable with or have prior knowledge of installing a pulley set, it is recommended that you take these parts to a professional to have them installed for you.
