Description
Increases Cobra Engine Output With SQ Technology. Got an early fourth-gen Ford Mustang Cobra and crave for even more power from its 4.6L V8? With the Vortech V-2 SCi-Trim Supercharger – Complete Kit – Satin, you will have all that you need to do so. Manufactured with SQ technology, this supercharger is manufactured with an integrated air/water dual-pass charge cooler configuration for providing the coolest air possible. As a result, you will see your Cobra get a boost from 305 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque to 442 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. And it will do so with minimal noise.
Includes Fuel Management Upgrade. To improve the fuel flow function, this supercharger includes a fuel management upgrade that includes a high-flow fuel pump, a fuel management unit, and an ECM chip.
Covered by Three-Year Limited Warranty. For three years after the date of purchase, Vortech warranties this supercharger kit to be free from any defects in its material and workmanship.
Expert-Level Installation. This supercharger requires an expert level of technical skill to install. Expect to spend over 6 hours to get it done.
Application. The Vortech V-2 SCi-Trim Supercharger - Complete Kit - Satin fits all 1996–1998 Ford Mustang Cobra models. Shipped with a satin finish, it is sold as a kit. As a V-2 supercharger, this kit requires oil lines to the engine for lubrication.
