Description
Give it a Boost. Boost your mustang's states, and give it that extra airflow your muscle car needs. The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger - Complete Kit – Satin is the extra shot of horsepower that your pony car needs.
V-2 Specifications. The V-2 centrifugal supercharger running 7.5-8.5psi boosts your 1999 Mustang GT’s power output from 260hp to 360hp and pushes torque from 302ft/lbs to 370ft/lbs. Max boost on the V-2 comes in at 26psi and the maximum speed for the unit is 55,000rpm.
Fueled and Tuned Up. This quiet blower is more powerful and reliable than its root-style counterpart. A high-flow fuel pump and high-capacity fuel injectors feed the engine the extra fuel it needs to keep up with the extra airflow. An EDM chip is included to tune up your GT for its maximum performance potential.
Factory Look & CARB Compliant. An OEM look is achieved with aluminum mounting brackets. The centrifugal V-2 supercharger is CARB compliant.
Moderately Difficult Installation. The installation of the V-2 will take the better part of the day and will require hand tools.
Lifetime Structural Warranty. The V-2 comes with a lifetime structural warranty against factory defect. For more information regarding the warranty, please contact the manufacturer.
Application. The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger - Complete Kit - Satin fits 1999 Ford Mustang GT models.
Technical Note. This Supercharger Kit is designed to be used on stock applications, as Vortech will only provide a tune for the stock motor with stock exhaust or most aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems. If your vehicle is no longer stock and has been upgraded with an aftermarket throttle body, cold air intake, headers, off-road mid-pipe, etc..., Vortech will not be able to provide a tune for your modifications. Modified cars will require custom tuning. Also vehicles with ECU codes of RKN or MDE will not be supported by Vortech, custom tuning will be required for operation.
