Upgraded Rotors for Strong Braking Action. Ready to stop your Mustang reliably even on a slush-laden winter road or in the midst of pounding rain, the high traction StopTech Slotted Rotors, Rear Pair outfit your 2005-2014 GT or V6 for successful braking in every situation, season, and weather. The vented design helps keep things cool even when you’re working the brakes hard, shedding heat before it can lead to “fade.” The slots keep the pad fresh and clean, while removing slippery substances from the rotor to ensure it offers high friction constantly.

Handsome Cast Iron Parts. Designed to look good as part of your Mustang’s wheel assembly with their slotted appearance, the StopTech Slotted Rotors are manufactured in one piece for sturdiness. The interior features curved vanes and ventilation channels, while the exterior is made with a slotted design. Cast iron is the material used to fabricate these rotors, supplemented by additional carbon for heightened tensile strength. A rust-resistant e-coating is applied to the edges, vanes, and hats.

Powerfully Effective Rotor Features. Performance brakes through and through, the StopTech Slotted Rotors work equally strongly in dry and wet situations. The slots pull in water and dust, keeping the surface free of debris that might reduce contact between iron and pad. They also swipe the pads with every contact, keeping their surfaces cleaner as well, and de-glazing them. The directional vanes of the venting, matching up the left and right hand rotors’ direction of rotation, spin cool air from the hat’s “eye” through the rotor and out the rim. This cools the whole rotor and prevents the temperature from reaching the level of heat that makes brake fade – so you can count on strong braking power even during heavy braking and maneuvering.

Bolts On with Little Difficulty. You can install the StopTech Slotted Rotors in two hours or less on your Mustang. The installation process is bolt-on and doesn’t require new calipers, new pads, or bleeding of the brake lines.

Includes Two Rotors. This kit – the StopTech Slotted Rotors, Rear Pair – is made up of (2) 11.81” slotted rear rotors.

Covered by No Warranty. The StopTech Slotted Rotors come with no warranty from the manufacturer; purchase of them is an agreement to accept them “as is” and “with all faults,” by StopTech policy.

Application. These StopTech Mustang Rotors are specifically designed to fit the rear of the 2005 to 2014 V6 and GT Mustangs equipped with five (5) Lug rotors.

Exact fit for my 2010 Roush 427R

The rear rotors were exactly the same as the used rotors and I had them professionaly installed by a certified garage.

            disappointed in "rust-resistant e-coating"

Perform fine, but disappointed in how quickly these rusted at the outer edges and near the inner hub. They listed "A rust-resistant e-coating is applied to the edges, vanes, and hats." The black coated area on the face of the brake is covered in rust.

            Great stopping!

After removing the calipers and pushing and twisting the brake pistons back to put in new pads, the rotors went on and man there is a big improvement in stopping power! For the price, it was totally worth it!

            better paint would do.

ok so, the black and slotted only style was what got me to buy them. I love how they look, but after a little while the paint will fade/ peel, also, is not chemical resistant.. so brake cleaner will take it out.. (first hand) wish they had better paint on them. I still like them, but not as much anymore.

            Worth the Purchase

I purchased these for my 13' 5.0 and they look fantastic on it. I did both the front and rear with them. Install was very simple; I changed my pads with my rotors as well.

            Great Rotors!

These are great rotors, very well made. I was looking for slotted rotors, not drilled, and was impressed to find a brand like StopTech at such a reasonable price. My tech was impressed with them as well. It seems a lot of folks like the look of the numerous drilled and slotted rotors available, but if they were to do serious research on the subject, they would understand slotted is the only way to go. These not only look great, they stop great.

            Reasonably priced upgrade

Great product for the price especially when compared to some other rotors on the market. Currently running these on all 4 corners with upgraded pads and I couldn't be happier.

            Stoptech rotors

I chose these because they are heat treated, painted, slots are machined to the minimum thickness, and of course for looks! no structural integrity lost over drilled rotors

            Amazing Stopping Power!

My Ford dealership told me it would cost around $700 to put new rotors and pads on my rear brakes. Wasn't happening. I purchase a rotor/pad combo from American Muscle for roughly $300 which were delivered next day and bolted on within an hour that evening. All I can say is WOW! I never expected to feel a difference in the stopping power but you can definitely feel a difference. I have little to know brake dust problems at all now, while my stock Ford rotors and pads continue to dust up my front wheels my rear wheels accumulate little to no dust. I would highly recommend these to anyone, pair them up with some hawk street+strip pads and you have a perfect combo! Thanks AM!!!

            Increased Stopping Power

My '08 Bullitt Mustang had enough go after its mods, but not enought whoa. I did some research and decided on the power slot rotors as an economical way to give me more stopping power. Installation was straight forward. The increase in brake response and decrease in stopping distance was immediatly apparent. I would recommend these rotors for a quick and easy brake upgrade.

            Rim Size Determines Stopping Power

I personally have 20 inch wheels that the previous owner had purchased and installed. Obviously the stock rotors and pads made stopping the massive hunks of metal a little difficult and on top of that they were warped. I bought these rotors which of course arrived in literally two days. American Muscle never disappoints on price and shipping. Anyway I had them installed at my local speed shop for around a hundred dollars and slapped on some performance pads to go with em. The actual stopping distance in regular driving was slightly improved and I have to say that Im not totally happy with the performance but I believe this is mainly due to my wheel size. Fit was exact and no complications were encountered in installation. Im forward to buying some smaller rims from AM which hopefully will drastically improve the stopping power and feel of braking when I get a few extra bucks.

These look great and are much better than the stock rotors my car came with. I highly recommend these, goes great with Hawk brake pads.

Great rotor, wish they were actually painted/powdercoated.

Better performance than stockers paired with decent brakes. Only mark-down was the rusty hat and vanes in the vent area. Have had mine on for about 15 months and have seen quite a bit of use on and off the track/street. Back brakes will be somewhat painful on the S197 since Ford was kind enough to put the screw-in pistons in the factory calipers. Enjoy the special tool that doesn't properly fit them.
