It doesn’t fit correct
It easy to put on but the cut doesn’t fit correct you have move around to make it fit. The circle cut doesn’t fit correct it leave a gap.Helpful (0)

Honestly it is a bit cheap, but for the price, it looks pretty sharp. Fit well after letting it stretch out a few days clinging to the fridge haha.Helpful (0)

Speedform Magnetic Decklid Blackout Panel
Poor packaging. Item arrived in a large envelop, folded in half. The sharp top corners of the panel were sticking through the inadequate shipping envelope and were roughed up and nicked up. The magnetism is not uniform, as some of the item 'pulls' strongly, but the bottom 'corners' are magnetically weak, and I am worried that wind will pick the panel off the car at speed. I guess I will find out. Also, item center hole is a poor fit. The bottom edge is not cut straight, and does not cover the paint well on the left bottom half. From a distance, though, it looks good on the car, and enhances the tail-lights, but I am disappointed in the quality and fit. It's not the end of the world, of course.Helpful (0)

Waste of money
It came folded so it has an un-removable crease in the center, the top corners were also folded in. It also doesn't fit well. Not putting it on my car.Helpful (0)

Just a magnetic piece that’s overpriced especially when it doesn’t even lineup with the emblem. Waste of trash. Even the quality is so bad. Not thick enoughHelpful (0)

Not a good buy.
Although this magnetic decklid stays in place, what they don't tell you is it collects dirt and road dust underneath it as you drive. Even though I drive very few miles on this vehicle and keep it clean I started to see noticeable bumps/raised areas on the decklid. Upon removing it, I could see what damaged it. It was the road debris collecting underneath it causing the deformities. You have to clean it daily, if driving daily, to avoid the problem.Helpful (0)

I finally opened the box up and noticed it was folded in half. It had lines down the middle, where the decklid emblem would be, and I thought it would be fine. It finally ripped in half when I went to put it on the car. Pretty disappointed.Helpful (0)

I know it was cheap and a temporary cosmetic look but this was so poorly constructed... the middle by the emblem was so thin i thought it was going to break. It didn’t properly line up so it looked jagged and out of shape. Only reason for 2 stars is because it held on strong. Save your money and get a real one.Helpful (0)
Is there a magnetic deck lid coming for my 2013 Mustang ??
At the current time, there are no magnetic decklid panels available for the 2013 or 2014 Mustangs.
I have an MMD emblem emblem already installed...would I have to remove that to install the decklid panel? (I'm afraid I already may know the answer, but wanted to make sure). Thanks!
I have a 2011 V6 that has the "slatted" style decklid that I believe is just hard plastic or rubber. How would this or any aftermarket decklid panel work for me?
Has anyone tried this on the 13-14 GT's? Based off what I read, it appears that the only difference between the decklid's for the 2010-2012 is that there are some holes in the trunk for fastners. But for the most part everything is held by 3M, so I don't see why this panel couldn't work with a 14.
Unfortunately, the Magnetic Decklid Blackout Panel (10-12 All) is only designed for all 2010 to 2012 Mustangs. There is an issue with the curves not fitting perfectly together. This may not fit properly on a 13-14 GT.
Washing car with panel on? Can I keep it on the car while washing it?
You should not have any issues keeping it on while washing your car; however I would recommend removing it every now and then to clean around the edges.
