Defying brake fade and wet weather with equal jauntiness, the design of the StopTech Slotted Rotors, Rear Pair is made to give your 1994-2004 Cobra, Bullitt, or Mach 1 Mustang the performance braking you can count on in every situation. Some features are constantly useful, such as the slotted rotor surfaces. These not only look good but keep the pads refreshed and the surface clean and for powerful stopping and shorter stops in wet or dry areas. Other features, like the venting, prevent brake fade when you’re pushing the envelope on your ‘Stang’s performance.

Premium Vented, Slotted Design. The construction of the StopTech Slotted Rotors involves use of a cast iron blank from Centric Parts, with a 1-piece construction and full ventilation. The vent vanes exhibit curved design and a directional arrangement to match the driver or passenger side direction of rotation. The surfaces are slotted and mill-balanced for vibration free operation as well as relative quietness. An e-coating finish is applied to the non-friction surfaces, such as the edges, the vent vanes, and the hats.

Enhances Performance and Defeats Fade. Well-designed for their role as all-round performance brakes, the StopTech Slotted Rotors offer superior braking power and abbreviated stopping distances thanks to their slotted design. This sweeps water and dust off the rotors to ensure there’s plenty of bare metal for pad contact. The slots also de-glaze the pads. The high carbon content deters fracturing when the rotors are highly stressed during strong muscle car action. The vents, with their arcing vanes, work like a fan or centrifugal pump to move cool air through the rotor and cool it down to a point where brake fade is no longer a problem – for a more effective, reliable, and constant available of strong braking force.
