Utilizing a new low-mass disc design that ensures an ultra-fine spray pattern for better atomization and improved burn efficiency, these Accel High Performance Mustang fuel injectors come complete and ready for installation with precision-molded O-rings and fine-mesh fuel strainers.

    Application. These 44lb Accel High Performance fuel injectors are best on forced induction or worked 1987 to 2004 V8 Mustangs, including the 5.0 LX, GT, Bullitt and 94-98 SVT Cobra models. These do not fit 1999-2004 SVT Cobra or 2003-2004 Mach 1 Mustangs.Not recommended for stock applications. Re-calibration of the MAF and a custom tune is required.

    • We recommend at least 47lb injectors for running E85 - you would also require a specialty E85 tune as well.

    My 98 V6 Mustang has Jetronics connectors. Will this fit my mustang? The EV6 injestors for 200 dollars states it'll fit all. So I'm Assuming the out and input o'rings are the same size?

    • The Accel High-Performance EV1 Fuel Injectors will fit your vehicle without the use of adaptors for the wiring connectors. An EV6 injector would fit your vehicle as well but would require the use of fuel injector adaptors to connect the injectors to your injector harness. The O-rings should be the same fitment on either set.

    Hello, I have a 347 stroker with block bored .30 over, victor jr heads, com cams, com cam rockers 1.7s, com cam pushrods, ford racing high lift lifters, aeromotive 340lph, aeromotive fuel line kit, 90mmMAF, 90mmTB, victor efi intake and manifold, msd 6al box, screaming demon coil, tunable induction air intake, bama 4bank eliminator chip, BBK header and exhaust with bullits and a whole lot more parts. My question is i have a NX nitrous kit ready to install....whats the best injectors i can put on for this set up?

    44# injectors or higher I need new injectors now. My 95 5.0 has cold air and 410 gear. Most everything is still OEM. If I upgrade to larger injectors, say 44# will it still drive and run ok until I finish the other mods like big MAF, fuel pump and chip/tune etc. ? Exhaust is open with flowmasters. What the point of diminishing return as far as injector#S on a internally stock 5.0 Thx kindly

    • at this point you don't need any upgrade wait until you upgrade some more. 44 pound injectors are for 700 horse power engines.

      44LB - EV1 Fuel Injectors in my 90 Fox Body

      I added a V3 Vortech supercharger to my 1990 fox body and was excited to get more power. I talked to a few guys at American Muscle "very knowledgeable" and they recommended the EV1 injectors. After some tuning I was able to jump my supercharger from 5lbs to 9.6lbs. I am VERY HAPPY with the EV1 fuel Injectors and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for better fuel dispersion and a cleaner burn! "They are really easy to install and they fit in a stock lower intake and stock fuel rails"

      injectors

      The injectors look great matching my intake manifold. intalation was quick and eazy even if you don't have mechanical skills. make sure to wait for engine to cool down before starting to take off the old injectors. there is also going to be a small spillage off fuel so have some rags ready,
