Description
High-Performance Ignition Coil. The Accel SuperCoil Ignition Coil; Yellow provides improved ignition by delivering higher spark energy for enhanced engine performance. It is designed for use in breakerless electronic ignition systems and includes all necessary mounting hardware and ballast resistor for reliable installation and operation.
Construction and Appearance. This ignition coil features a durable polymer polymer casing finished in Yellow and is oil filled to improve cooling and ensure long-lasting performance. Its oversized design includes cooling fins and an extra tall tan Alkyd tower that help prevent flashover to primary terminals.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, utilizing the included mounting hardware and ballast resistor. It is compatible with original ballast resistors in points ignition setups when used with the supplied 0.85 ohm resistor.
Warranty. Comes with a Manufacturer’s Limited 90 Day Warranty.
Application. Specifically fits 1979 to 1985 Mustang models without exclusions noted.
