The ACT Twin Disc Extreme Street Organic Clutch Kit with 8-Bolt Flywheel; 10-Spline is engineered to provide exceptional performance and durability for high horsepower street and racing applications. This twin disc setup doubles the friction surface area, enhancing heat capacity and extending wear life—making it an essential upgrade for enthusiasts seeking reliable clutch engagement and superior torque handling beyond OEM standards.

      Construction and Appearance. This clutch kit incorporates premium organic clutch discs with high copper content for improved heat dissipation, along with steel-backed linings for increased durability. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength, and the entire assembly is precision CNC machined and dynamically balanced to ensure smooth operation at high RPM. The proprietary positive lift floater system design minimizes noise and wear commonly associated with other twin disc configurations.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and no drilling, as the kit is designed to fit 8-bolt crankshafts directly. It includes an alignment tool to facilitate precise and efficient assembly.

      Warranty. This clutch kit is protected by a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects and workmanship.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1996 through 2010 Mustang Cobra and GT models, the kit accommodates OEM 8-bolt crankshafts and is not intended for vehicles outside this range.
