Description
Premium Performance Clutch. The ACT Extreme Race Sprung 6 Pad Ceramic Clutch Kit; 10-Spline delivers high torque capacity and durability for demanding driving conditions. This clutch kit is engineered for high horsepower street or race applications, providing aggressive engagement and lasting performance to ensure optimal power transfer and vehicle control.
Construction and Appearance. The clutch disc is made of select ceramic friction materials designed for high heat tolerance and maximum performance. The kit features a sprung 6-pad race disc with a spring-center construction, an Xtreme diaphragm pressure plate subjected to a four-stage heat treatment for enhanced clamp load and reduced deflection. The components are precision balanced for smooth operation and reliability under extreme conditions.
Installation. Installation of this clutch kit requires moderate mechanical expertise and the use of standard clutch installation tools. No additional drilling or modifications to the vehicle's transmission components are necessary.
Warranty. This clutch kit includes a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the 1993 Ford Mustang, including GT, LX, and SVT Cobra models equipped with the 5.0 V8 GAS FI OHV engine. Intended to meet the performance needs of these exact models without adaptations.
