    Description

    Powerful Performance. By replacing your 1987-1993 5.0L Ford Mustang's restrictive stock intake with AEM's Polished Brute Force Cold Air Intake, you'll be able to enjoy massive gains in horsepower, torque, and throttle response. Dyno-tested and tuned, this intake is low restriction to provide maximum cool air to your Pony's engine, giving it the boost needed to dominate the competition at every turn.

    Red Synthetic Dry Filter. The cold air intake comes with an effective filter that keeps dust, dirt, and other debris out of your intake system and engine. The extra-large red AEM DryFlow filter is made from non-woven, oil-free synthetic media and is tapered and cylinder shaped for optimal functionality. Washable and reusable for long-term use, the filter only needs to be cleaned every 100,000 miles, depending on driving conditions.

    Mandrel-Bent Construction. To allow for reduced intake air temperatures, the cold air intake locates the air filter in the original air box space, while the system even accommodates for the original emissions control devices. The filter also boasts steel clamps and mandrel-bent aluminum tubing finished with durable, chrome-like finish for added style and protection.

    Installation. Installing this intake is simple for those with basic mechanical skills. Simply set aside about 1 hour for the straightforward installation.
    Warranty. This intake is backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Some limitations do apply, so be sure to check out the full warranty for more information.

    CARB Exempt. The Brute Force Cold Air Intake is CARB exempt, meaning it is street legal for use in California and other states adopting California's emission standards. Its CARB EO number is D-670-15.
