Advanced Fuel Pump Control. The Aeromotive FourX Return-Type Fuel Control System for 3 to 4-Pump Systems offers comprehensive pulse width modulation (PWM) control for up to four high-power brushed fuel pumps. It optimizes pump speed based on load demand using a built-in MAP sensor, effectively reducing heat generation and mitigating vapor lock in high-performance forced induction setups. This system ensures smooth pump ramp-up and integrates well into traditional return-style fuel plumbing setups.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with automotive-grade materials, the FourX controller features robust cross-linked polyethylene wiring and UL94 rated components that promote durable and safe operation. Electrical connections utilize OEM Delphi/Aptiv terminals and seals, ensuring reliable integration with factory harnesses. The compact controller package is designed for in-cell use and built to withstand automotive environments with over-temperature and short circuit protection embedded.
Installation. The controller installs with moderate ease, requiring integration into existing fuel pump wiring and plumbing without the need for drilling. It replaces conventional relay and Hobb's switch arrangements, providing streamlined control without extensive modification.
