Description
Engine Stability Solution. The AMT Motorsport Vulcan Motor Mounts are designed to provide a durable replacement for deteriorating stock mounts, eliminating excessive engine movement and cracking caused by heat and wear. These mounts improve vehicle stability and performance under spirited and competitive driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring two machined 6061-aluminum cups with a red anodized finish, the mounts secure 90-durometer vulcanized rubber pieces with a central aluminum spacer to maintain shape and prevent galling. The high-temperature rubber offers excellent longevity and resistance to engine bay heat without requiring additional heat protection.
Installation. Installation requires no drilling or modifications; the mounts attach to the engine mount brackets and cradle using the included Grade 10 bolts and hardware. A detailed, full-color manual is provided to guide the installation process efficiently.
Warranty. These motor mounts come with a lifetime guarantee, offering free replacement of any failed parts without question.
Application. Compatible with 1997-2013 Corvette C5 & C6 models. A race version is also available, which is 3/8" shorter to provide clearance for the Fast 102 intake. Users should verify clearance for the crank dampener, oil pan, and leaf springs before choosing the race version.
