Description
High-Performance Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-SK Hood; Double-Sided Carbon Fiber is engineered to reduce weight while enhancing both the appearance and functionality of your vehicle. It includes a functional shaker style hood scoop that channels air directly into the OEM Mach 1 air box, improving engine cooling and performance. This hood is suited for enthusiasts who want a blend of visual style and performance enhancement for their Mach 1 Mustang.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted through a vacuum infusion process using 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, this hood offers excellent strength and rigidity. It features a marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors, polished to a high gloss finish to protect against sun damage. A carbon fiber skeleton bonded to the underside significantly reduces weight compared to the stock hood.
Installation. The hood mounts with OE hardware, which is not included, and minor adjustments may be necessary to ensure optimal fitment. Drilling is generally not required. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper alignment and longevity.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 21-23 Mustang Mach 1.
