Description
Premium Carbon Fiber Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-OE Hood in Carbon Fiber offers a lightweight, performance-enhancing upgrade for 2005-2009 Ford Mustang GT and V6 models. It improves vehicle aesthetics while reducing weight to help enhance handling and acceleration. This hood is engineered to directly replace the factory component without compromising style or structural integrity.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, this hood features a consistent weave pattern optimized for strength and stiffness. A marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied and polished to provide a durable surface with a high-gloss finish that resists environmental damage.
Installation. The hood mounts using OE hardware (not included). Minor adjustments may be required for optimal fitment, and professional installation is recommended for the best results. Drilling is generally not necessary.
Application. This hood fits 2005-2009 Ford Mustang GT and V6 models and does not fit the Mustang GT500. It is designed for use as a direct replacement while maintaining safety and style standards.
