Description
High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer Brakes 14" Extreme+ Rear Brake Kit is designed to provide superior stopping power for rear axles. It enhances your vehicle's braking performance, especially under demanding conditions, using advanced caliper and rotor technology. This system is essential for drivers requiring durable, reliable brakes for spirited driving or track use.
Construction And Appearance. Crafted from a US-sourced 2618 aluminum forging, the 6S caliper is precision CNC machined for strength and rigidity. The brake calipers feature a powder-coated monster green finish, stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips to resist corrosion and wear. The kit includes zinc-plated, two-piece slotted and drilled rotors with billet aluminum hats, combining durability with an aggressive appearance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill but does not necessitate drilling or modifications to your existing rear knuckles or hubs. The kit comes complete with all necessary brackets, stainless steel braided hoses, and hardware for a straightforward upgrade.
Application. This brake kit fits 1997 to 2004 Chevrolet Corvette models, specifically designed to work with OE rear knuckles and hubs. It is compatible only with those factory details and requires 18-inch or larger wheels for proper fitment.
