Description
High-Performance Rear Braking. The Baer Extreme+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors; Silver Calipers delivers exceptional stopping power designed for demanding driving conditions. This kit upgrades your vehicle�s rear braking system to enhance control, reduce fade, and improve overall safety during spirited driving or track use.
Construction and Appearance. The caliper is CNC machined from US-sourced 2618 aluminum forging, ensuring strength and lightweight performance. Finished with a durable coating, the caliper features stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips. The rotor is a 2-piece design with a billet aluminum hat, zinc plating for corrosion resistance, and a slotted and drilled surface for optimal heat dissipation and improved pad bite.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, as the system is designed to fit the factory rear knuckles and hubs. Proper clearance should be verified for wheels 18 inches or larger to accommodate the 14-inch rotors.
Application. Specifically engineered for the 05-13 Corvette C6, this rear brake upgrade maximizes performance while utilizing OE rear knuckles and hubs for a seamless fitment.
