Designed to improve rear braking capability, this big brake kit is ideal for track use or spirited street driving where reliability and heat management are critical.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features a one-piece monoblock 6-piston caliper machined from US sourced 2618 aluminum forging, known for exceptional strength and lightweight characteristics. The calipers are powder coated for a durable, corrosion-resistant finish. The rotors are two-piece, vented, slotted, and drilled with a zinc plating to resist rust, combined with a billet aluminum hat for added strength and reduced unsprung weight.
Installation. The kit installs using OE rear knuckles and hubs, requiring no drilling or modifications, making for a straightforward upgrade. Installation is moderately challenging and is recommended for professionals or experienced enthusiasts familiar with big brake kit components.
Application. This brake kit fits 2014 through 2019 Corvette C7 models using original equipment rear knuckles and hubs, and is compatible only with wheels 19 inches or larger meeting the specified lug pattern and clearance requirements.
