Description
Precision Steering Upgrade. The Baer Tracker Tie Rod/Bump Steer Kit is designed to correct bump steer issues that arise from modified suspensions or inherent OEM design flaws. It allows for fine adjustments at the spindle, improving rear suspension geometry and handling response, crucial for performance driving on 1997-2013 Corvette models.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 6061 T-6 aluminum with a fully machined sleeve, the kit features a black e-coated finish for corrosion resistance. It uses a Teflon-lined 5/8� heim joint coupled with a 4140 steel machined tapered pin, offering durability and smooth articulation without the need for spindle modification.
Installation. The installation process is straightforward and requires no drilling or spindle modifications, making it accessible for most enthusiasts with basic tools. The kit directly bolts to the OE inner tie rod, simplifying the upgrade process.
Application. This adjustable tie rod kit fits all 1997-2004 C5 and 2005-2013 C6 Corvette models equipped with stock rear knuckles, designed as a direct replacement to maintain proper fitment and function.
