Description
HIGH-PERFORMANCE BRAKE SYSTEM. The Baer Extreme+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 15-Inch Rotors; Comp Yellow Calipers provides exceptional stopping power for the rear axle of performance vehicles. It is designed to upgrade braking performance by replacing factory components with a robust 6-piston caliper and large, vented rotors that enhance heat dissipation and braking efficiency. This system is essential for drivers seeking improved brake control and reliability under demanding conditions.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. The calipers are CNC machined from a 2618 aluminum forging sourced in the United States, ensuring strength and durability. They feature a powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal. The rotor is a 2-piece design with a billet aluminum hat and a zinc-plated, slotted, and drilled steel braking surface. Stainless steel hardware and high-quality seals contribute to the system’s longevity and noise reduction.
INSTALLATION. Installation is designed to be direct bolt-on using the original equipment rear knuckles and hubs with no drilling required. Brackets and necessary hardware are included, but the system reuses OE parking brake cables and hoses, simplifying the upgrade process for experienced installers.
WARRANTY. This brake kit comes with a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
APPLICATION. Fits 2015-23 Mustang GT EcoBoost V6 models. It is not compatible with the GT350 model.
