Description
HIGH-PERFORMANCE REAR BRAKE KIT. The Baer Pro+ Rear 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Fire Red Calipers delivers substantial stopping power and enhanced control for the rear axle. Designed to replace the factory rear brakes on select vehicles, this kit offers improved heat dissipation and consistent braking performance under demanding conditions such as spirited driving or track use.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. The calipers are CNC machined from US sourced forged or billet aluminum, ensuring strength and precision. They feature a durable powder coated finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The rotors are two-piece, zinc plated, slot and drill surfaced and come with billet aluminum hats, which enhance durability and heat management. Stainless steel hardware and DOT approved braided steel hoses are included to improve reliability and safety.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward for experienced technicians and requires no additional drilling as the kit is designed to fit existing mounting points. Upgrading the master cylinder is recommended to fully optimize braking performance with this larger kit.
WARRANTY. This product includes a standard manufacturer warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials for a specified period.
APPLICATION. Designed exclusively to fit 1993 Mustang models equipped with the OE Ford 8.8 inch c-clip rear end and 5 lug axle assembly, excluding Cobra models. Proper fitment must be verified prior to installation.
