The Baer SS4+ Rear 5-Lug Big Brake Kit featuring 13-inch rotors and Hugger Orange Calipers enhances rear wheel braking capability, providing increased stopping power and reliability. Designed for improved street and track performance, this kit replaces the factory rear brake system to deliver superior control and safety under demanding conditions.

Construction And Appearance. This system includes a 4-piston floating S4 caliper crafted from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum, CNC machined for precision. Components feature a durable powder-coated finish; pistons are hard anodized aluminum, and hardware includes stainless steel abutments and noise suppression clips. The rotors are 2-piece, zinc-plated, slotted and drilled with a billet aluminum hat for optimal heat dissipation.

Installation. Installation is straightforward with no additional drilling required. The kit uses a unique backing plate to mount the caliper and to house the parking brake assembly. It includes all necessary stainless braided hoses and hardware for direct bolt-on fitment.

Application. Designed to fit 1979-92 Ford Mustang models equipped with the OE Ford 8.8" C-clip rear end and 5-lug axle configuration. Master cylinder upgrades are recommended for optimal performance and safety.
