    • Performance V2 (87-93 Octane) - The Performance Tune offers a seamless blend of power, performance and drive-ability. Improving the overall driving experience of your Mustang, the Bama Performance Tune improves vehicle acceleration, increases power throughout the entire RPM and improves throttle response with revised timing, fuel, and VCT maps. Automatic equipped vehicles offer an aggressive shifting map to provide more aggressive transmission settings. This tune is suggested for the aggressive daily driver that is looking for more "get up and go."


    • Race V2 (91-93 Octane, E85, Race Fuel) - The Race Tune is designed for maximum performance and ensures the largest increase in vehicle performance. Using the highest grade of fuel available in your area is mandatory as timing, Ti-VCT, fuel, and throttle response settings are very aggressive. Automatic transmission settings implement entirely new shift points, torque converter changes and firmness settings designed for Track use.


    Technical Note About Fuel. Use of E85 will require larger fuel injectors such as Injector Dynamics ID1300 or Ford Racing 47lb/hr Injectors. Unleaded race fuel can also be used, but Stoichiometric points must be supplied.

    Wi-Fi Updates and Cloud Tuning. The Rev X Tuner by SCT is Wi-Fi capable, meaning it will always be up to date. Once setup with your Wi-Fi password, the Rev X will download the latest firmware updates via the internet. Besides firmware updates, your Rev X can also download your custom Bama tune files via the cloud, reducing the hassles of transferring files from your PC to your Rev X device.

    Data Logging and Monitoring.         What major differences are there between the Bama Rev-X and the Bama SF4/X4 tuners?

        • The Bama Rev-X Tuner by SCT will now have Wifi and will allow the tunes to be sent via the cloud which makes a faster and easier process of receiving your custom tunes.

        One last question, could I use this tuner and the 93 Race tune on two different mustangs? Ones a 2007 and the other is 2006. One is my sons and we have the same mods.

        • This tuner is only capable of being married to one vehicle at a time so this will not be compatible on your other Mustang. If you plan to tune two different Mustangs, you will need to separate devices.

        Okay so i have the sr performance 62mm throttle body, a specter cai and pypes off road x pipes with a full 2.5inch exhaust. How do i properly set this up? Would i call the manufacturer for clarity if i run into something?

        • You will want to list all the mods on the tune form once you place the order.

        Where can I find the "93 Race Tune" that is advertised here on AM. I ordered and received this exact item but don't know where to find the "93 V2 Race Tune" show in the description. I was looking forward to those changes described by BAMA.

        • TheRace V2 (91-93 Octane, E85, Race Fuel) tune is a custom tune. When you purchase a device you will receive an email asking for the vehicle details and we will write and send over the custom tune files. For the Rev- X devices the tunes get uploaded to the cloud and you access them from there.

        Is this tuner capable of turner of O2 sensors?

        • Bama does not have the ability to disable the O2 sensors. As of mid-2018 SCT was working to implement future updates that remove the feature from the device which disables the rear O2s. It will very likely be implemented without a direct confirmation from SCT, so we cannot guarantee that this device will have the ability to disable rear O2s.

            Bama Rev X Tuner

            Was kinda sceptical about buying this tuner with bama because of the bad reviews from YouTube and social media. Finally decided to go with this tuner with bama. When I first ran my car with the 91 performance tune my car did run a little weird but bama said it was gonna do that and after that the car ran way better. Bama is really helpful with everything. Had some problems and they were there to help.

            Great Mod!!

            Great mod for the money. Setup was easy, and performance gains immediate! Best money spent. Got a CandL Cold Air Intake last fall that didn't require a tune. Then got the tue, and pulled sleeve out. Do it! Even without the intake do it!

            Great customer service

            I purchased a car with an old Bama Tuner that stopped working. Got the Rev-X from AM and trying to balance the tune with the mods I've done was challenging. There was a lot of back and forth with the techs at AM and the communication was great. Got the tune dialed in and the car runs amazing - much smoother and eager than before. Thank-you! -m

            Still just as good

            I had purchased one of these for my 06' Mustang V6 Automatic years ago and was almost terrified of how much power and the changes it gave my car. So once again, after modifying my 07 Mustang GT (Standard shift) I knew when it was time to do it, The tuner does change everything about the vehicle's power and the modifications you put into it. Wakes it right up, the way the car should have behaved from the factory in my opinion. It will tie all your mods together, even if you have just bolt-on's. Currently Running a 93 Octane tune, CandL Cold Air, BBK 62MM Throttle, Street Fire Coils, BBK Off Road X-Pipe, and a ton of suspension and other mods. The price may be a lil steep for some at first, But when you get it, you'll be glad you did.

            Didn't think it was possible!!!

            For just a CAI and exhaust this really made the car an entirely different machine. Definently have a seat of the pants feel so it was well worth the money. Kind of upset that I didn't know or read that BAMA will not turn off your downstream O2 sensors but once I'm done building I'll take it to a shop that will. I was told by Nick S. that they couldn't with their software and I proceeded to call him out on it and he admitted that it was a policy. Oh well still a good buy and the fact that they won't delete the O2s in an area where I have no emissions is the ONLY reason I didn't give it a full five stars.

            Holy Cow!

            The tuner itself has alot of features. After working directly over the phone and having the tunes wrote while on the phone it is amazing. The street tune is great for a more snappier mis range torque. The race tune is for the big boys haha. The race turn your mustang into Godzilla no matter what mods you have. I'd say this is the best mod yet!!!

            WOW. Beat my local speed shops dyno tune!!!

            Installed this with Ford Hot Rod Cams. Had the car tuned last year on a reputable shops dyno by their owner. Got the hot rod cams a year later and put them in as well. Last step was the tune. Ordered the tuner with overnight shipping and the cloud had my custom files before the tuner was in my hand. Used my phone hot spot to update the tuner and it located my two custom tunes within 2 minutes. Total install time 8 minutes. Extremely easy to use. Car really throws you in the back seat now. Idles perfect at 900 rpm for the cams and i have stock like driveability. Fuel mileage is improved and i can now switch between 87-93 octane in just 2 minutes. Absoputely amazing customer service. The tuner even kept the old tune as "stock" without requiring a ford reflash $$$

            Gave my mustang the smoothness I wanted.

            I have a cai, headers, catless x pipe, mufflers, and I run the bama tune as my daily. The 93 tune just smoothed out my power curve I didn't really notice a difference in throttle or power. Only thing I noticed is that my car only wants to make high power above 3k rpm. So whatever they did I have about no low end torque now unless I launch the car from high rpm. Once I do get into the power though the curve is nice and I recommend bama as a base tune but once you get more complicated mods I would go for lund lito vmp ext

            Love the performance tune!

            Found the Bama tune relatively easy and straight forward to use. I had two custom tunes street performance and race tune with 91 octane. I personally feel the street performance was best of the both tunes. Found the race tune to be a little too aggressive in throttle response. First to second shifts are more aggressive and throttle sensitive compared to the performance which was easier and smoother to find the shift points. That's how my experience was. It may be different for you and your personal set up.. You just need to compare the two by driving and getting the feel from both tunes. Hope that helps! Love the way my car performs feels like a new car now. Happy with the purchase would recommend.

            Money well spent

            I loved it worked perfectly now with the tunes that i got the car runs like it should with the mods i have but now i wonder if bama could make me a tune that would turn the CEL light off because of my off road h pipe i just keep getting distracted

            Better than Expected

            Wasn't sure what this would do for my GT. Well, I have to say I am very pleased. The 87 octane tune really woke the ponies up. The race tune isn't bad either, but I think the throttle response seems to be a bit more noticeable with the 87 tune. I am happy, just wish the price was about $100 less!

            BAMA BOOM!

            Being new to the late model performance market, I wasnt keen to performance gains based on "tricking" the computer. Being an old school hot rodder, I was used to adding headers, cams, intake, etc to add more power. But this was all new to me. I was on the fence whether I should pull the trigger on a tune, but finally decided to go for it. The only issues I had was for whatever reason the profile creation just didnt work on the AM performance site. But, I called the number and one of the sales guys went over it with me on the phone and I gave him the specs for my car and he said a tune would be available in a few days. I went with the 93S and the 93R tunes. However, 93 octane wasnt as readily available in AZ as I thought. But some quick research and I found a local supplier for TORCO octane booster. Combined with 91 octane, the yield was to be roughly 94-95 octane. I got the unit, ran the tank almost dry, put the TORCO in and proceeded to fill the tank with 91 and... whoops- the tank is only 13 or so gallons. The can of booster was based on a 20 gal tank. I ran some quick calculations and the octane now is closer to 99- 100! Anyhoo- put the tune on the car (93R) and took it for a "spirited" drive. Whoa! The increase in power was incredible. I love the late model method of power enhancement. Wish I would have jumped on the late model- specifically the Mustang bandwagon long before now. Not sure if its the tune only, or if the 100 octane in conjunction or what, but I love it. With the 93R tune, it pulls hard in first, but really comes alive in 2nd and 3rd. I have NEVER had this much fun in a car before. Highly recommended. I havent even started using the rest of the units features- just the tune alone was worth the purchase!

            Don't know why our cars don't come like this stock

            If it's just a matter of properly programming your car's ecu. I don't know why our cars (2007 GT, manual) do not come programmed properly from the factory... I do have a CAI, but after the tune I've noticed an increase in mpg, and a definitely increase in power (via the butt dyno). When I first installed the tune, my car ran like garbage though, but after contacting BAMA and having a new tune sent out (I think I gave them the wrong CAI type for the first tune) my car now runs as smooth as stock, but with the better mpg and power. I think it'll take about 20K miles to make back the money ($400) in fuel savings, but to me it's worth it because we get a tangible way to tap into our car's actual potential. Great job BAMA
