Description
Performance Torque Converter. The B&M Holeshot 3000 Torque Converter for 4L60E/4L65E automatic transmissions is designed to improve vehicle launch by increasing stall speed to the 2800-3200 RPM range. It maximizes torque delivery for quicker acceleration, especially beneficial for modified engines with larger camshafts that reduce low-end power. This torque converter retains the lock-up feature for efficient drivability.
Construction and Appearance. Built with copper furnace brazed impeller fins and turbine, this converter features a new precision alloy steel impeller hub and heavy-duty needle bearings for enhanced durability. It is fully balanced and pressure tested to ensure reliable operation. The converter is constructed of sturdy steel and finished in a distinct blue color.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and no drilling is necessary. The component bolts directly to compatible transmissions using existing bolt patterns, simplifying the installation process.
Application. Fits 1998-02 Camaro and Firebird models equipped with LS-based engines, as well as 1999-06 GM 1500 trucks and SUVs with compatible 4L60E/4L65E transmissions. Not compatible with 1997-05 Corvette models due to differing bolt circle specifications.
