Hey, guys. Stephanie from americanmuscle.com here with an overview of these BMR Caster Camber Plates for all 2015 and newer Mustangs. In this video, we'll go over a few things with the BMR Caster Camber Plates. We're gonna talk about the adjustability of the plates, and the install as well. I'll get more into this later, but the install for these is easy. It's a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, but I'd recommend getting an alignment after the install, so just keep that in mind. The BMR Caster Camber Plates are gonna be something that you should check out if you're an S550 owner that has lowered their Mustang, and you need to, or want to, gain some adjustability from a caster camber plate. Caster camber plates, like these ones here, not only help with alignment specs but the BMRs here are also gonna replace the factory strut mount bushings with a Teflon lined spherical bearing. Lowering your car is going to change the geometry of the suspension, which is gonna create the need for an alignment in order to keep everything in spec and proper. Aftermarket caster camber plates, like these one's here, are better at dialing in alignment specs, so they're going to have benefits like more consistent steering and better steering response, especially if you have suspension upgrades. Tires are obviously gonna wear better when the car is properly aligned, and another little plus here of the caster camber plates is the fact that you can actually dial in your suspension for a particular track or demand, depending on what you're planning on doing with your Mustang. Now I will say that honestly speaking, you don't really tend to need a caster camber plates for alignments unless you're lowering one-and-a-half inches or more, and most lowering springs for the S550 don't go this low. Now this doesn't mean that you don't need, or can't use a set of plates like these. Like I said earlier, these are gonna replace your factory strut mount bushing, and these plates are also gonna give you a much wider range of alignment settings for racing, or other applications, so you can dial in your car for your needs. So, these plates are double-adjustable, which means that you can adjust caster without affecting camber and vice versa. These have a two plate design that separates the caster and the camber adjustments so that they can be adjusted independently. These are 100% bolt-on design, so there'll be no fabrication, or modifications needed to get them installed. You can utilize the factory bolt holes and then work with both the factory and stock style aftermarket struts. These plates are also made from CNC laser cut steel plates, and they offer one-and-three-quarter degrees of total camber adjustability. They are powder-coated red, but they're also available in black, and I'll say that these are designed for street performance, drag racing, and handling applications, so these are made to correct alignment and give you the ability to add aggressive alignment settings for both the street or the track. When it comes to price, you can expect to pay between $250 and $350 for a set of these plates. This is right in line with all of the other options that are currently on the site, but I will say that styling-wise, these do have a little bit of a different look to them, so if you aren't into the way these look, you can always check out some of the other sets. As far as the install goes, I said this earlier, but this is an easy install. It's a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, and you can expect it to take about two hours from start to finish. You will need a few tools, but nothing out of the ordinary, besides a spring compressor, and as usual, you can get the job done on a jack and stands, but a lift would certainly make things easier for you. You're gonna need to remove your calipers and rotors in order to get to the strut bolts, since the struts will need to be dropped in order to install these, and your sway bar end links as well. And I'd just be sure to zip-tie or set your caliper out of the way. Don't leave it hanging on the brake line. There are a few nuts on the strut towers that need to be removed, and then you can compress your spring and pull the assembly from the car. The strut mount will need to be removed and separated so you can install your new bushings and your camber plate assembly and the strut can then go back into the car. Everything's gonna reinstall the same way that you took it out, but you need to install the camber plate support brackets under the nuts on the strut tower before you wrap everything up. Then just be sure to take the car out for an alignment after the install is all completed. Wrapping things up with the BMR Caster Camber Plates, these plates will help you gain alignment specs, and get your car back into spec after lowering it. These will replace your factory strut mount bushings with a Teflon lined spherical bearing. As always, I suggest you check these out more online for yourself. Straight Forward Install. Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, these Red CC Plates by BMR Suspension include all necessary hardware and utilizes stock bolt holes. Installation requires simple hand tools and can be completed in about two hours time.

Applications. These Red BMR Caster Camber Plates are designed to fit all 2015-2018 Ford Mustangs, including V6, GT, EcoBoost and GT350 models.
