I need some clarification on the BMR safety loop. When you look at the instructions for the hammertoe one it's instructions show the loop installed on top of the crossmember with a spacer included (these instructions are for the red one though), but the red safety loop (which does not have any install instructions) has photos provided that show it installed below the crossmember? Which way is correct, and why does one have the necessary spacers, while the other one does not? Is there one that is preferred for a lowered Mustang with a one piece driveshaft?

will this work on a 2011 gt with a magnum xl trans swap and a one piece driveshaft?

        • The BMR Front Driveshaft Safety Loop will work with the smaller one-piece driveshaft that is used with the Magnum XL. Though, some shimming may be required with aftermarket one-piece drive shafts.

I know the rear loop is tough with lowered stangs, i have sportlines on my gt, could this be installed? 3.5in driveshaft.

        • Depending on overall tire height, when running Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs, the BMR Front Driveshaft Safety Loop may have clearance issues, especially on speed bumps, due to the aggressive nature of the drop with these springs.

            Easy one person install!

Bought this a few months ago and just finally had a chance to put it on. Fit easily around my one piece aluminum drive shaft. Took as long to get my car on jack stands as it did to install it.

            Great product

This worked really well with my one piece driveshaft. Hardest part of the install was jacking up the car. Install was straight forward and easy.

            Bmr saftey loop

Speedy arrival but much to my dismay when having it installed at my muffler shop. I was informed that the plate that sits in between the safety loop and trans mount cradle was not in the packaging as the install video referenced it in the instructions. They were able to accommodate that missing piece and complete the install. I do not know if the kit changed and the video was never updated, but it is on and working out.

            Safety loop review

Very happy with the loop. Made very well. Have Al drive shaft and kit didn't come with enough washers to make room. Got 1/2 spacers much better than washers

Perfect add on before going to the track

Product was just as described. Everything fit like it should. Install took just under an hour, almost took longer to get the car on jack stands than it did to do the installation. I was worried they'd ask if I had a driveshaft loop at tech, but running slicks and a stock driveshaft I figured this was a good safety measure. Great product, easy install, would recommend to anyone running a slick or drag radial.

            BMR driveshaft loop

Was expecting this to be identical to the picture but it is not. There is no BMR etched into the metal. Overall it does what it's supposed to do though.
