Installed this on my California Special. Much more aggressive look which is what I was looking for. I took the bumper off of the car because I didn't want to break any tabs on the CS grills so I can sell them. I also needed a grill surround to install this on my CS. Perfect fit and changes the whole look.Helpful (0)

Cool change for your Mustang GT
Best way to install is taking off the bumper cover, but through the magic of youtube you can also just yank out the old grill. You need to remove the grill surround from the factory grill and move it to this one. Also, if using your factory fog lamps two tabs on the new grill need to be cut off. Also note that this grill is thicker than the GT, so if installing without taking the grill off, you gotta really push onto the bumper cover until you hear clicks that tell you the mounting tabs have locked.Helpful (5)

Whose the Boss?
Great look to the 2014 body style. My son and I are building a Boss clone and he decided to install this along with a pair of Raxiom smoked fog lights. Wow! It turned out to be a great choice. Although we really liked the looks of the included deletes, the combo gives you the same look with the added convenience of the stock fogs. At some angles you can't tell they are there but a night, Hello Angel!Helpful (5)

Just some info on converting your V6 to this grille! You will need to purchase the surround also to make it fit. This company does not carry it (that's OK) but it is easy to obtain if you search for it. You will be pleased with the quality of this package and it is well worth the extra effort of replacing the surround as well!Helpful (11)

Classic Grille for 2013 V6
Bought this grille in hopes of adding a more retro styling to my V6, especially since I wanted in-grille fog lights and I already had the tri-bar mustang badge around my car (Pony package). Granted, this grille isn't meant for a V6, so I searched for these parts individually, e.g. grille surround, fog light brackets, wiring harness, etc. The grille was instantly a hit, it made my car stand out from the rest of the usual GT grilles and V6s. I absolutely love it, and it's also OEM, so it's good quality. Very happy with this addition for my daily driver. #mustangramona #ramonathemustangHelpful (7)

Not too bad for a first time project
I had no experience doing this type of install, but I followed some online instructions and knocked it out in about two-and-a-half hours. I thought about taking the shortcut and not removing the front bumper cover, but I decided to go ahead and do what most people were recommending: Take the bumper cover off. Didn't really have any problems, but I did not like the plastic fasteners that hold the radiator cover in place (they aren't very durable--I would recommend buying some extras to use in case you have to destroy one when removing the bumper cover). I did keep my fog lights, so I had to use my Dremel to shave off the retaining tab on the grille. I am glad I installed the grille because I don't see many out there, and it's different than the standard Pony.Helpful (6)

Classic Styling, Easy Install!
I bought the Boss 302 grille to give my black 2014 GT a bit of a classic, 1969 Mustang inspired (foglights tribar emplem) styling. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the end result. The install was pretty easy and it took me less than 30 minutes. I did not remove the radiator cover and just carefully pulled the stock grille. The only drawback is the relatively high price, but hey, I consider any penny I invest in my pony to be money well spent.Helpful (5)

Look out your not the only boss on the road!
Fits great on my 14 stang it simply pops right out but I recommend doing it the hard way or have a local body shop put it in because pulling it straight out can damage the paint or the secondary part that holds the grill in.Helpful (6)
Does this grill delete the gt fog lights?? Hi I have a question I'm planning on purchasing a 2013 GT and I'm interested in installing the Boss Grill but my question is I don't want to delete my stock grill fog lights and I noticed that the panels that block them aren't attached to the grill itself so I wanted to know can I have this grill while still retaining the stock fog lights???
As this Boss grille ships, it will give you the Boss look and delete your stock GT fog lights. If you wanted to keep your factory fog lights and use this grille, you'll need to cut off a small tab with a razor or cutting wheel. Doing so will permanently prevent you from being able to use this grille as a fog light delete though. Once you install with the factory fogs, there's no turning back. You'll just want to be certain of which look you want before installing. Hope this helps!
Will this grille fit a 2013 V6 mustang?
This is not a direct replacement for a V6 Mustang. It would require a GT grill surround for proper fitment.
can this fit 2017 mustang gt?
We can only guarantee proper fitment for the Ford Boss 302 Grille w/ Emblem on the 13-14 GT and 2013 BOSS 302 Mustangs with the Boss grilles installed.
Is this style grill available for a 2016 mustang GT?
The Boss 302 style grille is currently not available for the S550 Mustangs.
Hi, I have 2013 club of America V6, this grille will fit ? Or do I have to buy the surrounding ? Thanks
Unfortunately, this grille only fits 13-14 GT Mustangs. You will need to buy a GT grille surround in order for this grille to fit properly.
Unfortunately, this Grille will not fit in a 2014 Mustang V6 because of the style of the V6 Grille Surround. A GT Grille will not directly clip into a V6 Surround. Also, there are no cut outs for the fog lights in a V6 Surround. In order for this Grille to fit properly on your car, you will need to purchase a GT Grille Surround. If you look in the pictures, it is the black plastic piece surrounding the Grille itself. On a V6, it has a chrome finish.
Hello, unfortunately the Ford Performance Boss 302 Grille w/ Emblem (13-14 GT, BOSS) will not fit the V6 model.
This grille does not come with a grille surround. In order for a GT grille to fit properly on a V6, you must change out the surround. The GT grille does not sit flush in a V6 surround because they have different clip styles and the GT surround provides room for the fog lights. The chrome surround can be painted, but you will have to do some custom work to make the two work together.
The Ford Performance Boss 302 Grille w/ Emblem (13-14 GT, BOSS) will not fit a V6 flush as the GT and V6 grilles are a slightly different size. If you wanted to convert to the GT grille, you would need a GT grille surround, fog lights, fog light brackets and a fog light wiring harness.
It's plastic by very nice looking once installed.
Unfortunately Ford did a slight change on the 2013 grills that wouldn’t allow this to work on 2012 as a direct replacement.
Unfortunately, this fits 2013 Mustangs only. It won't fit properly on your 2012.
