        Classy Look

The splitter appears to be well made. Straight forward installation instrutions. As always the cost is an issue. The way of the world! Waiting for the 302 Lower Fascia and then I can complete the installation and lokk.

        5 2012 GT - MustangGuy16 Installation Time: Afternoon

Added just what the front fascia needed. Looks great and the extra downforce is even a little noticeable going around sharp curves. Time consuming to install but very worth it and easy to do so.

        5 2012 GT - RBREEZY657 Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

Really makes the front end aggressive. If you have gotten the front fascia already I really recommend adding this on. It looks great and is very durable and not a bad install.

      5 Top Rated Questions

I live in a apartment building with a steep slope to get in, I haven't had any issues scraping before, will this item, coupled with a boss front fascia, be more prone to scrapping then the stock 2011 GT with factory fascia?

      • The splitter with the fascia will be slightly lower than the factory GT fascia so it will be more susceptible to scraping. If the incline is quite significant, the fascia will likely make contact with the entrance.

I have this splitter would it be possible to add fog lights in the lower air duck holes

      • The Ford BOSS 302 Front Splitter and Boss chin spoiler can accept GT/CS fog lights in the lower air duct openings.

So I've been reading some questions and answers from others, and I'm seeing a few questions about what kind of Mustang Trim you need for this to fit, I'm seeing a lot of answers saying you need a Mustang BOSS/CS edition to install this fascia, I have a Mustang GT Premium, and according to the website's "fitment" feature, it says it'll fit my GT. My question is, With the GT Premium package, will this still fit? or do I really need a BOSS/CS edition to install this? Thanks in advance.

I have a 2010 gt mustang will this fit on my car?

      • The Ford Racing BOSS 302 Lower Front Splitter is designed to fit the 2010 and newer Mustangs with the GT/CS (California Special) front fascia installed. This splitter will not fit the standard GT or V6 front fascia.

I understand this piece isn't made to fit the 2014 models, but would it be feasible to drill holes in line with the stock spoiler and kind-of do a diy fitting replacing the stock chin spoiler with this? (Likely to be done by a body shop) This is by far my favorite looking chin spoiler and also significantly cheaper than it's 2014 counterpart (the 2014 boss spoiler deflector for about $650) Thanks!

      • Since there is only fitment for the 2010-2012 model Mustangs, I would advise against purchasing this and then making custom modifications such as drilling as the front end of the 2010-2012's is shaped differently than the ones on the 2013 & 2014's.
