Hey, guys, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com here with the Ford Racing Boss Style Lower Front Fascia for 2010-2012 GT Mustangs. The Ford Racing Boss Style Lower Front Fascia is a step further than a front splitter or a spoiler as far as a change in looks. So it's gonna be for someone that's looking to change things up a little and spend a little bit of time giving their GT a facelift. This is a genuine Ford part, so it's the OEM lower front fascia that comes from the factory on the Boss and the California Special Mustangs. So, it's not like this fascia totally breaks the mold, but it is going to change the looks of the front end in a pretty big way. This is gonna replace the lower grill and the painted portion of the lower fascia of the stock GT, and give it what I call a more solid, square look that's a good deal more aggressive than the factory product fascia is. One thing that I did wanna point out here is that this is just the lower front fascia. It doesn't come with the Boss Front Splitter, although you can complete the look and add the Boss Splitter very easily to this lower front fascia. Another thing to mention here is that this fascia since it is the OEM part, does have a 2-3 inch opening for the brake duct cooling kit. You would need to pick up the Blow Fish Racing Brake Duct Cooling Kit to actually make this feature functional, and it's only going to work if you have a 2011-2012 with the factory 14 inch Brembo package. But add-ons and additional features aside, this is made from the same OEM-quality high-pressure injection molded thermal plastic, so it's gonna have that OEM grainy texture to it. A lot of exterior modifications are made from this material, or very similar materials because it's very durable and long lasting, especially for things like chin spoilers, rear balances, and splitters because this material can take the abuse of street driving and still hold up. As far as price, you're looking at spending just under $250 for the Lower Front Fascia, which considering this is an OEM upgrade, isn't a bad price. Ford Racing does offer this fascia with the fog lights. This one does not have the fog lights, but you're looking at spending about $100 more for that one. A lot of guys just leave the fog lights out, but that's gonna be completely up to you. If you're interested in the front splitter, that costs just over $150, and the brake duct cooling kit that I mentioned costs a little under $200. Next is the install. Now, this one's gonna take about three hours, but it's not really difficult. I'm gonna call it a one-out-of-three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You will need a handful of different tools, but nothing out of the ordinary, just a ratchet and a couple of different sockets, a Phillips head, and maybe some needle nose pliers. You can remove the lower front fascia. It's just a few push tabs. The new fascia comes with some metal tabs, and to get the new fascia installed, you line up the black plastic tabs with the slots in the bumper, and then just push the fascia onto the bumper cover. The fascia will click into place as long as everything's lined up, and then the metal clips will secure everything. Wrapping things up here, the Ford Racing Boss Style Lower Front Fascia is an OEM part that's made from a durable material and has a grainy, factory-like finish. It's easy to install, and it will give you the look of the Boss in a California Special Mustang. You can check it out more online right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

Aggressive CS/BOSS Styling. Add the aggressive race inspired styling of the GT California Special edition and the Boss 302 to your Pony with a genuine Ford BOSS 302/CS lower front fascia. Now your 2010-2012 GT's front end can have the same stylish looks as the California Edition GT or 302 BOSS with this genuine Ford part.

Quality Construction. Made from OEM quality high pressure injection molded thermal plastic for it's long lasting durability, this lower fascia features an OEM grained texture to increase longevity against rock impacts from daily driving.

Brake Cooling Option. This genuine Ford part replaces your GT's factory lower fascia and features two 3" openings, which can be used in combination with a Blowfish Racing Brake Duct Cooling Kit if you have a 2011-2012 GT with the factory 14" Brembo Brake Package.

Application. The BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia is designed for 2010-2012 GT Mustangs. Will not fit Shelby GT500 Mustangs.

Will this fit my 2010 v6? Saw a couple 2011 v6 photos with it on.

        • This is not designed to work for a V6 as it is designed specifically for 10-12 GTs. Any V6 with this would have had to have made modifications to make this work.

Why will this not work on the 2010 v6 ? What is preventing it to work considering the 10-12 v6 and 10-12 gt are the same front ends ?

        • There were some differences in the 10-12 v6 and 10-12 gt that will not allow the Ford BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia to work on the V6 models. You need the GT grill surround and front bumper cover to install the Ford BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia on your V6.

Where can I find the highlight assembly shown in the preview images?

        • Unfortunately, we no longer carry the headlight assemblies that are pictured with this Boss/CS style lower fascia. However, we do have the smoked version here: https://www.americanmuscle.com/headlight-smoked-projector-1012-hid.html.

I have a 2012 mustang v6 premium and wanted the lower front fascia. I already have the bumper and everything needed but was wondering if my fog lights that are already on my car would fit in the holes? Would I have to move them to make it fit? Thanks for the help.

        • This is not designed to work for a V6 as it is designed specifically for 10-12 GTs. For your 2012 V6 this would have to have custom modifications to make this work.

            Great quality, great fit

Hardest part is getting the bumper off! Two screws and two pushers then just removing the clips that hold the old fascia in place. New one snapped right on and fit perfect. I also got the splitter, not sure how it is on other years but for 2010 I had to drill all the holes to attach the splitter onto the new fascia. Just to keep in mind.

            Looks good

I bought this primarily to cover up lower bumper damage. It works wonderfully and looks great too. Damage is covered up so I don't need to buy, paint and install a new bumper. Installation was easy, anyone can do it, though I recommend having a friend help with handling the bumper. The hardest part was getting the last side of the bumper to go over the wheel well splash guard when reinstalling the bumper. I look back at my car and smile when I see this fascia.

            Pleased with clean aggressive appearance!

Very solid plastic mold, perfect interchangeable snug-fit. It's one thing to see it in photos, but to see it in person and walk around every angle..., two thumbs up for how proud this makes the front nose look. 2-1/4 hours

            For a Splitter

I have an 11 GT base that I track and wanted to add a front splitter to it (APR Carbon Fiber). The stock lower fascia is not flat all the way across the front which would lead to a gap where the splitter should meet the fascia (that's why the BOSS had this lower fascia). I purchased this and it installed no problem. The splitter fit right up to it and looks great.

Very nice product, makes the front end more aggressive if you like the boss 302 front end as apposed to an aftermarket look this is for you. Easy install, just ordered the splitter too can't wait to install that, will write a separate review on it. American muscle is the best its the only place to order your mods!! Thanks to them my 2011 roushcharged gt is shaping up nicely.

            True GT look.

Excellent look and fit, but, you should stop with the deception about the removal and install. Unless Ford messed up on some 2010 mustangs, the bumper has to be removed because, on either end there is a screw that has to be removed and installed for a secure fit. Don't be afraid its easy.
