Hey, guys, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com here with the Ford Racing Boss Style Lower Front Fascia for 2010-2012 GT Mustangs. The Ford Racing Boss Style Lower Front Fascia is a step further than a front splitter or a spoiler as far as a change in looks. So it's gonna be for someone that's looking to change things up a little and spend a little bit of time giving their GT a facelift. This is a genuine Ford part, so it's the OEM lower front fascia that comes from the factory on the Boss and the California Special Mustangs. So, it's not like this fascia totally breaks the mold, but it is going to change the looks of the front end in a pretty big way. This is gonna replace the lower grill and the painted portion of the lower fascia of the stock GT, and give it what I call a more solid, square look that's a good deal more aggressive than the factory product fascia is. One thing that I did wanna point out here is that this is just the lower front fascia. It doesn't come with the Boss Front Splitter, although you can complete the look and add the Boss Splitter very easily to this lower front fascia. Another thing to mention here is that this fascia since it is the OEM part, does have a 2-3 inch opening for the brake duct cooling kit. You would need to pick up the Blow Fish Racing Brake Duct Cooling Kit to actually make this feature functional, and it's only going to work if you have a 2011-2012 with the factory 14 inch Brembo package. But add-ons and additional features aside, this is made from the same OEM-quality high-pressure injection molded thermal plastic, so it's gonna have that OEM grainy texture to it. A lot of exterior modifications are made from this material, or very similar materials because it's very durable and long lasting, especially for things like chin spoilers, rear balances, and splitters because this material can take the abuse of street driving and still hold up. As far as price, you're looking at spending just under $250 for the Lower Front Fascia, which considering this is an OEM upgrade, isn't a bad price. Ford Racing does offer this fascia with the fog lights. This one does not have the fog lights, but you're looking at spending about $100 more for that one. A lot of guys just leave the fog lights out, but that's gonna be completely up to you. If you're interested in the front splitter, that costs just over $150, and the brake duct cooling kit that I mentioned costs a little under $200. Next is the install. Now, this one's gonna take about three hours, but it's not really difficult. I'm gonna call it a one-out-of-three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You will need a handful of different tools, but nothing out of the ordinary, just a ratchet and a couple of different sockets, a Phillips head, and maybe some needle nose pliers. You can remove the lower front fascia. It's just a few push tabs. The new fascia comes with some metal tabs, and to get the new fascia installed, you line up the black plastic tabs with the slots in the bumper, and then just push the fascia onto the bumper cover. The fascia will click into place as long as everything's lined up, and then the metal clips will secure everything. Wrapping things up here, the Ford Racing Boss Style Lower Front Fascia is an OEM part that's made from a durable material and has a grainy, factory-like finish. It's easy to install, and it will give you the look of the Boss in a California Special Mustang. You can check it out more online right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

Aggressive CS/BOSS Styling. Add the aggressive race inspired styling of the GT California Special edition and the Boss 302 to your Pony with a genuine Ford BOSS 302/CS lower front fascia. Now your 2010-2012 GT's front end can have the same stylish looks as the California Edition GT or 302 BOSS with this genuine Ford part.

Quality Construction. Made from OEM quality high pressure injection molded thermal plastic for it's long lasting durability, this lower fascia features an OEM grained texture to increase longevity against rock impacts from daily driving.

Brake Cooling Option. This genuine Ford part replaces your GT's factory lower fascia and features two 3" openings, which can be used in combination with a Blowfish Racing Brake Duct Cooling Kit if you have a 2011-2012 GT with the factory 14" Brembo Brake Package.

Application. The BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia is designed for 2010-2012 GT Mustangs. Will not fit Shelby GT500 Mustangs.

Will this fit my 2010 v6? Saw a couple 2011 v6 photos with it on.

    • This is not designed to work for a V6 as it is designed specifically for 10-12 GTs. Any V6 with this would have had to have made modifications to make this work.

Hi will this fit my 2011 v6 premium?

    • Hello Riley, Unfortunately this will only be for the GT models and would not fit your premium v6.

Will the fog lights from a 2010 V6 fit into these openings or do I have to get the CS fogs lights?

    jonze

    • Buy it with the lights, yours wont work, its only $100 more and they were made to fit that part. They also come with 2 quick connect wire harnesses that make it a clean, durable install. I have 2 2011' GT's with this chin spoiler on both. I do recommend getting a set of LED bulbs ($12 on amazon) with a 6000K light signature so they are bright white, they use low power consumption, last longer, and most importantly are way brighter. If your keeping the grille lights just splice the harness on each side to the correct grill foglight plug/wire. I went with a HID kit ,35 watt bulbs, 6000K, in my grille because the stock ones just are yellowish (4000K) and not bright. Also did LED/HID kit headlights in the same wattage (35w) so not to melt your lights, and 6000k. The foglights alone (4 w/ the grille and chin spoiler, on one switch) are bright white and wont blow fuses because of the low draw LED bulbs down bottom. To each his own. Hope this helps good luck. Check AM, Ebay and Amazon for low prices. Bulb type is a H11 or a H9 works to I think? Make sure you match the light signatures or it will look funny, meaning the 6000K, any higher gets bluish like a Benz or BMW going up the highway.

      CS/Boss front fascia

This piece is perfect. I installed it without the fog lights and left the factory GT grill & fogs in place. Just remember to paint the washer bottle black if you leave the fog lights out. This is how the car should have come from the factory.

      Great Looking Fascia

This really enhances the look of your mustang. It is really easy to install given the fact that I don't do a lot work on cars. It took me about one hour and with the use of a few simple tools my stang had a different look. Thanks AM!

      Nice upgrade

Like Vakane said - the picture can be misleading as the Boss 302 splitter is not included. Other than that, install was straight forward and took about an hour. Definite improvement over factory GT front valence.

Follow directions and installation is a breeze.

I did this in about an hour right after installing the rear diffuser to match. Everything fits absolutely perfectly. While i'm sure some might argue that i'm wrong, the car definitely lifts the front considerably less under acceleration than with the factory front fascia. also, the horn sounds completely different for some reason, I'm not complaining, I like it better. oh, and I almost forgot; It looks incredible!

      gt/cs front

whole thing took about an hour with a drink break, easy install. look at reviews and youtube if your arent mechanical like myself. you will have to get some muscle in order to separate the body panels. one could by pass taking the bumper off if you can get the car up on jacks because there are two pegs that are impossible to get to. looks awesome. now i want to complete the whole look. splitter, bumper and side skirts

The Fasica looks amazing. Way more aggressive than the plain GT one. No instructions were included but the installation guide on this site is very good. Only small problem I had was the small clips used to hold the fasica in were not included

The Fascia is a huge change to the front end, since it is a Ford part, it fit perfect. It gave the front end a more aggressive look.

One of the best first mods

I wasn't happy with the stock front valance. For me it came down to this piece with the boss splitter or the RTR chin spoiler. I went with this one and I'm very happy with it. Perfect fit. It does take a while to install it, but its worth it.

Installed this CS lower along with the Saleen grill and Boss splitter. This piece came packed like there was gold in it. Nice rigid box with great packing. With the front of the car on ramps the old one came out easily and the new one installed no problem. Very easy swap even though there are no directions included. Would recommend.

change the look. It is unique.

The front facia w/fog lights only took about two hours to install and because it is a genuine Ford part it fits perfectly and looks great. A friend and I took our time and had absolutely NO problems installing the part. The fog light wiring assemblies fit perfectly and only aiming the lights is a slight difficulty...but readily solved. It improves the look of the front end and along with a black retro grill (sans emblem) and makes the front of the car look very business-like. Hondas and other imports stay away...it looks that "bad." AM always does great with info, shipping, and involvement in the Mustang community. Highly recommended.
