Easy Installation Process. The front splitter can be installed by the owner, although professional installation is recommended for best results. Installation requires drilling and the use of basic tools including a drill, screwdriver, 10mm wrench, and car jack. The bumper, undershroud, and valence must be mounted to the chassis to support the splitter's weight, and both the splitter and bumper must be bolted to the under-frame. Mount the splitter as close to the front of the bumper as possible. If the bumper is not bolted to the under-frame, use brackets (not included) for support. Splitter rods (not included) are recommended for high-speed use.
