The Brian Tooley Racing Stage 1 Centrifugal Supercharged Hydraulic Roller Camshaft; Three-Bolt Style is engineered to optimize power and torque delivery throughout the engine's power curve. Designed specifically for smaller centrifugal superchargers within 5.3-6.2 liter engine combinations, it offers excellent street manners and robust performance gains. This camshaft enhances engine efficiency while maintaining reliability under demanding supercharged conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This camshaft features advanced lobe designs developed through rigorous Spintron and engine dynamometer testing to maximize power output and valvetrain stability. Constructed as a hydraulic roller camshaft, it is precisely machined and finished for durability and smooth operation. The physical dimensions provide a compact yet robust form factor suitable for Gen III and Gen IV LS engines.
Installation. The Stage 1 camshaft installs with moderate difficulty and is designed as a direct fit for three-bolt camshaft applications. Installation complexity may vary depending on engine setup and valvetrain components; always follow appropriate procedures for camshaft replacement.
