It securely wraps around the turbocharger housing to reduce underhood temperatures and protect surrounding components. This shield is essential for turbocharged engines where effective heat control is critical.

Internally, there is a thick silica insulation layer with low thermal conductivity, supported by a composite inner layer of stainless steel, glass fiber, and silicone for improved thermal resistance and seam strength. The innermost layer consists of stainless steel fabric that withstands high operating temperatures without degrading, providing a robust and technical finish.
