Furthermore, this trim plate is computer-designed and precision-formed, offering an exact fit when installed.       Easy Install Procedure. Installing this radio trim plate is a breeze as it comes preinstalled with 3M automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape. Some prep work in the form of cleaning the mounting surfaces is needed. You then wipe down the cleaned surface with the included adhesive promoter and then attach the trim piece. Also, when installing this component in cold weather, you should warm the mounting surfaces first as the adhesive is more effective on warm surfaces. You can accomplish this with a hairdryer.
