Description
Independent Rear End. The S60 Independent Rear End Bolt-In Differential Assembly is engineered to upgrade the rear drivetrain for enhanced strength and performance. It improves traction and handling by allowing smooth power transfer to the wheels, making it ideal for both street and strip use. This assembly replaces the factory rear end with a robust unit built to withstand high torque applications.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from lightweight 206-T4 aluminum, the housing and cover feature cooling fins and a black Enduraguard coating for surface protection and durability. Aircraft-grade 2024-T351 billet aluminum main caps and steel adjuster nuts ensure precise gear setup. The large 9.75-inch Dana 60 ring gear provides exceptional strength and greater efficiency compared to a Ford 9-inch gear set. The radial design adds rigidity to the assembly, enhancing overall durability.
Installation. This bolt-in assembly requires a custom driveshaft and aftermarket axle half shafts for installation. It is designed for straightforward mounting without drilling, enabling a clean and seamless upgrade to the rear differential.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 2010–2015 V8 Camaro models, this rear end assembly guarantees a perfect fit and optimized performance for vehicles within this range.
