Description

The Canton 289-302 Street T Sump Front Oil Pan, Zinc Plated, is engineered to optimize oil control for Ford 289 and 302 engines, enhancing lubrication and durability in both street and strip applications. It features a seven-quart system capacity and is designed to ensure improved oil pickup under high-performance driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This oil pan is made from sturdy sixteen gauge steel for long-lasting strength. The zinc plated finish provides excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining a clean, professional look suitable for performance engines.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. It is compatible with most front sump production chassis, though certain models such as Mustang II, Mavericks, and Comets may require chassis modification.
Warranty. This product comes with a one-year warranty against defects when properly installed in the correct application.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1979 to 1995 5.0L Mustangs, excluding Mustang II models. Some chassis modifications may be necessary depending on the vehicle.
