Which style headers work with this oil pan? Long or short? I ordered this pan for my motor and I'm currently running long tube headers. I noticed this pan has a larger rear section. Will my long tube headers still work with this pan or will I need to change my exhaust system to short tube headers? Any recommendations would be helpful for GT40X heads.

    • Some long tube headers may require modifications in order to have clearance. Shorty headers and mid-length headers will both provide enough clearance with this Oil Pan.

      Canton Rear Sump T-Pan - Street (86-95 5.0L)

Very nice pan! I was able to use my stock oil pickup tube with a DSS main girdle. I had to bend the pickup tube slightly to fit, but not a big deal. Pan fits with nice clearance towards the front sway bar, K-member and the convertible K-member "X" bracing on my 95 GT convertible. I used my stock hardware with some grade 8 washers I picked up at the hardware store. No gaskets or hardware included. You can use Canton's universal braided dip stick, or the stock one.
