      Street and Strip. If you have added some serious performance upgrades to your 1981 to 1985 5.0-liter Mustang you are going to need a performance oriented clutch to transfer all that new found power to the rear wheels. This Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch was engineered to extend the holding capacity of your Mustang up to 564 ft/lbs of torque, all while maintaining factory pedal effort. Designed primarily with street applications in mind, this Dual Friction Clutch will provide easy engagement and superior holding power for use on the street as well as occasional use at the Track and Dragstrip.

      Dual Friction Design. Centerforce's Dual Friction Series Clutches feature a patented Dual Friction Disc Design. The pressure plate side of the disc has a full face for drivability and longevity. While the flywheel side has a carbon composite puck-style (segmented) face for positive engagement and increased holding-capacity.

      Sprung Hub Discs. Centerforce Clutches were engineered with sprung hub disc centers. A sprung hub helps dampen gear rattle and allows for smoother engagement with light pedal effort. This not only provides excellent driver control, but increases the longevity of your Mustang's transmission; when compared to standard rigid center hub discs.

      Required Upgrade. This Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch will require the use of a Centerforce flywheel for proper engagement. Centerforce offers both an aluminum flywheel (PN# 900320) and a steel flywheel (PN# 700320) that are perfect for this application.

      Application. This Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Kit is designed to fit 1981-1985 5.0L V8 Mustangs equipped with a 10-spline SROD 4-Speed or T5 manual transmission.
