    Hey everyone I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com here with a kit that’ll transform the rear end of your ride from modern to classic in a matter of minutes. Talking about this chrome brake and trim kit for your 05-09 Mustang. Modern cars are sometimes void of these subtle touches that gave the classics their character, and made them the much sought after machines they are today. The kit includes a third brake light trim, the quarter light trim, and the tail light trim itself. Now as for installation it should only take a couple of minutes using the preinstalled 3M automotive tape located on the back of each piece. Now it’s always a good idea to first prep they area using the supplied alcohol swabs first. Now you can purchase these pieces individually if you’d like, but they definitely make more of a dramatic impact on styling, and less impact on your wallet, if you purchase the kit as a whole. So if you’re looking to give your S197 a little more character that is reminiscent of the first Mustangs, you’ll definitely want to check out this Chrome Dress-up Kit.

The SpeedForm Chrome Brake Light Dress-up Kit already has heavy-duty 3M bonding tape applied to the back of each plastic trim ring so all you have to is just clean the surface, peel off the protective backing, and stick them to your taillights, its that easy. Go from stock to show stopping in just under 10 minutes.

    Would these fit with the coyote tail lights? I ordered the Chrome brake light trim combo, but I was just wondering if they will also fit the coyote tail lights before I install the trim to my stock tail lights.

    • The Brake Light Dress-up Kit - Chrome (05-09 All) will not fit the Raxiom Coyote Tail Lights (05-09 All) item #49123 as the Coyote Tail Lights move the reverse lights in between the brake lights where the chrome trim would sit on the stock tail lights.

      Chrome light trim

      I purchased the rear tail lights , rear side and third rear brake light kit . Installed all but the third brake light as this piece fits On the light itself and actually reduces the size of this light . I thought it did not look right to me . Having said that , the other components installed in minutes and look absolutely great . Definitely dresses up the rear and side lights . Really stands out on my Vapor colored 2009 Shelby GT 500 . Good job American Muscle ! Hey , will you guys take back the 3rd brake light piece ???

      Quality just OK!

      I bought the entire rear light kit. Once installed they look very nice. My only complaint is that some of the pieces have small factory chips on them, plus the price for this stuff is extreamly high. We are talking about a set of plastic, chome plated, stick on pieces for over $100. One of the pieces only stuck on half way.

      third brake light

      Will not fit. Too small. I have tried 2 of the third brake light chrome trim and both have been to small. Not only are they not wide enough, but they are also not tall enough.

      Chrome kit

      Product looks good just third brake to small and does not fit as snug as quarters lights ,got two guarter lights of the same side right side one did not fit the left side ,talked to an associate of american muscle and was very helpfull on fixing the problem said they would send another quarter lights waiting for them

      Nice items,the drivers side back trim glue came loose in corner,had to glue it and the 3rd brake light is way to narrow.but otherwise pleased with the look.

      If you're looking for a cheap and quick way to dress up your mustang, then these are perfect. They looks amazing and fit pretty much perfectly to the car. The tape is super sturdy and I haven't had any issues with peeling or fading yet! Totally worth it

      Not bad

      Fit on tail lights and side markers great. The third tail light didn't fit around the lens rather it sat on top and looks a little cheesy. Other than that it does add some retro class.
