Hey guys, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com, and I'm checking out this Clutch Pedal Extension for 1994 to 2015 manual Mustangs. Comfort while driving is essential, and I'm sure that many of us have tried to drive a manual Mustang in an uncomfortable position because we have to move the seat so far up to get a good feel for the engagement and disengagement of the clutch. This pedal extension moves the clutch pedal up one and a half inch closer to the driver to give you a more comfortable driving position without altering the performance of your clutch. You can see right away that the pedal extension is low key and hardly detectable, and you can put your pedal cover right over it. It's made from a high impact ABS plastic, and it's designed and manufactured right here in the USA. The ABS plastic design means that it's lightweight, and it has a superior durability so it'll last a lifetime, whether your car is a track car or a daily driver. Another plus here is the very simple installation of this pedal extension. The pedal extension comes complete with the two stainless steel screws that you'll need, and getting this installed should take you about 15 minutes. So if you're looking for a fast and easy way to improve your comfort while driving, then you should check out this clutch pedal extension for your '94 to 2015 manual transmission Mustang available here at AmericanMuscle.com.

Not billet clutch pedal extension
Although the clutch pedal extension is not Billet like advertise, It works very well. It is a very heavy duty plastic. Do not let the title fool you. But once again it works greatHelpful (0)

I am not the tallest person by no means so in the category of height I guess I fell short and the quality of this product in my opinion also fell short. Although it will do what it is designed to do the quality is not there. Produced with plastic and top hole threaded section was lose . Had to improvise to be able to tighten the top screw. We will see if it holds up.Helpful (2)

Product works but I didn't read the full information when I ordered it. I saw Billet in the name and expected a metal adapter instead of a plastic one. Not wanting to wait I installed it and gave it a try and it is working well for me.Helpful (1)

The installation took a while. However, the cold weather made the rubber hard to install. The car heater was turned on to the highest level and waited for the rubber to soften before the installation. The seat position has also improved after installation.Helpful (0)

Great aid if you have a bad knee
I've suffered from 2 bad knees for years but I really love driving a clutch car...as long as my left leg is not fully extended my pain is tolerable....this extension is a life saver,we go to 7-8 cruises a year during the summer and some notes it takes 30-45 minutes to get from one end of the cruise area to the other so this has made a substantial difference in my driving at these events. Thanks for a great product !Helpful (0)

maybe you could help I got my pedal cover in place on the pedal extension but it doesn't seem to want to slip over my 2003 mach1 clutch pedal it seems to small tried it by just slipping it on by itself with the same result maybe you could tell me what I am doing wrong thanks
You can trying pulling the pieces of the extension to the side in over it slip the extension over the pedal. Below is a link to a detailed installation guide that will show you exactly how to install this pedal extension. http://1.cdn.lib.americanmuscle.com/files/525516-cust.pdf
Will this work with the Bullitt pedal setup? I would like to keep the same look of the bullitt pedals
If you are referring to the Bullitt style pedal pads that fit all Mustangs, the answer is yes. I have GT500 style pedal pads which are similiar and it fit fine. The trick is to heat up the pad in hot water and slide it on from the bottom. The alternate would be to put the pad on the extension first and "clam shell" it on.
Will the stock GT500 pedal cover fit on the extension?
The instructions say it fits all 1994 and up Mustangs with manual transmission. My Mustang has the rubber and stainless steel pedal covers, and by heating the cover with hot water I was able to put it on. There is also alternate instructions that have you put the pedal cover on first, then clam shell the extension on to the clutch pedal.
will these fit on a 1993 mustang lx?
No, this will not fit 1993 models.
I've been using my clutch pedal for quite some time now which is excellent in shifting gears, however lately i noticed that it was a bit wiggling and loose. I later found out that the screws were missing. are there a replacement screws available for this?
Unfroutunettly, we do not carry the screws outside of this product for sale at this point in time.
The Clutch Pedal Extension would not be compatible with a bolt on style pedal cover like you have, as this would require drilling through the new extension, which will most likely come into contact with the bolts holding the two halves together, and will also compromise the integrity of the extension.
Removing the stock pedal cover to install the Clutch Pedal Extension, should come off without ease. If it is giving you troubles, someone may have glued it on for some reason. If you did not want to destroy the stock cover, I would recommend taking it to a shop to ensure it comes off in tact.
I am just a few hairs short of 6 feet tall, and these do work pretty well. If you like to sit with the seat in the further position, so your arms are not cramped, but your legs don't necessarily reach to the floor, I would highly recommend the Clutch Pedal Extension.
