Hey guys, Stephanie with, and I'm checking out this Clutch Pedal Extension for 1994 to 2015 manual Mustangs. Comfort while driving is essential, and I'm sure that many of us have tried to drive a manual Mustang in an uncomfortable position because we have to move the seat so far up to get a good feel for the engagement and disengagement of the clutch. This pedal extension moves the clutch pedal up one and a half inch closer to the driver to give you a more comfortable driving position without altering the performance of your clutch. You can see right away that the pedal extension is low key and hardly detectable, and you can put your pedal cover right over it. It's made from a high impact ABS plastic, and it's designed and manufactured right here in the USA. The ABS plastic design means that it's lightweight, and it has a superior durability so it'll last a lifetime, whether your car is a track car or a daily driver. Another plus here is the very simple installation of this pedal extension. The pedal extension comes complete with the two stainless steel screws that you'll need, and getting this installed should take you about 15 minutes. So if you're looking for a fast and easy way to improve your comfort while driving, then you should check out this clutch pedal extension for your '94 to 2015 manual transmission Mustang available here at

Improves Ergonomics. Improve the driving ergonomics of your manual Mustang with a Clutch Pedal Extension for a more comfortable seating position. This Pedal Extension moves the clutch pedal 40mm (1.5") closer to driver so that you don't have to sit so far forward to fully engage/disengage your Mustangs clutch. This extension will not affect your clutch's performance; it is only designed to improve driver comfort.

Made in the USA. Proudly manufactured in the USA from automotive grade acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic material for its light-weight and superior durability, this Clutch Pedal Extension will last a lifetime.

Application. This Clutch Pedal Extension is designed to fit all 1994 to 2019 Mustangs equipped with a manual transmission, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1, SVT Cobra, BOSS, Shelby GT500 and EcoBoost models.

Please Note. A clutch pedal pad is not included with the Clutch Pedal Extension. You will use your stock or an aftermarket clutch pedal pad.

maybe you could help I got my pedal cover in place on the pedal extension but it doesn't seem to want to slip over my 2003 mach1 clutch pedal it seems to small tried it by just slipping it on by itself with the same result maybe you could tell me what I am doing wrong thanks

        • You can trying pulling the pieces of the extension to the side in over it slip the extension over the pedal. Below is a link to a detailed installation guide that will show you exactly how to install this pedal extension.

Will this work with the Bullitt pedal setup? I would like to keep the same look of the bullitt pedals

        • If you are referring to the Bullitt style pedal pads that fit all Mustangs, the answer is yes. I have GT500 style pedal pads which are similiar and it fit fine. The trick is to heat up the pad in hot water and slide it on from the bottom. The alternate would be to put the pad on the extension first and "clam shell" it on.

Will the stock GT500 pedal cover fit on the extension?

        • The instructions say it fits all 1994 and up Mustangs with manual transmission. My Mustang has the rubber and stainless steel pedal covers, and by heating the cover with hot water I was able to put it on. There is also alternate instructions that have you put the pedal cover on first, then clam shell the extension on to the clutch pedal.

I've been using my clutch pedal for quite some time now which is excellent in shifting gears, however lately i noticed that it was a bit wiggling and loose. I later found out that the screws were missing. are there a replacement screws available for this?

        • Unfroutunettly, we do not carry the screws outside of this product for sale at this point in time.

Will this work with my Roush billet pedal covers. They are installed by drilling through the metal pedal and placing screw through the holes and securing on back with a threaded nut. It is the older style Roush covers for my 2007 Roush Mustang.

        • The Clutch Pedal Extension would not be compatible with a bolt on style pedal cover like you have, as this would require drilling through the new extension, which will most likely come into contact with the bolts holding the two halves together, and will also compromise the integrity of the extension.

            Clutch pedal extender

This product is very hard to put on. After an hour of sweating I gave up. I used a hair dryer and some oil to stretch the rubber to no avail. It still took me another 30 minutes to put the pedal cover back on.

            Clutch feels even funnier

The GT350 clutch has this wired 2 stage spring resistance. It was fine for me after some getting used to. But putting the extension on seems to have made things worse. Probably due to the changed angel on this thing the clutch was awful and I took it off after two trips. I wouldn't recommend for GT350 unless you absolutely need it. Maybe replacing the spring would make it feel normal again with the extension.

            Makes driving fun again

Does make driving less cramped, now able to push the seat back further without any drawbacks. A bit pricey for two pieces of plastic.

            Exactly what I needed.

Now I don't have to sit close to the steering wheel! I'm 5'8", so I have to sit a little closer to the wheel. Honestly, I was hesitant about this purchase because I thought maybe I'll still need to sit close because I have a stick shift. But after installing it and taking it for a ride around the block, I am surprised how much more it has improved my driving experience. I should have purchased this a long time ago.

            Helps a lot

This was what I needed to let me put the seat in the perfect position without having to sit all the way up just to shift. extends the peddle to where I can actually sit back and not worry if I am putting the clutch all the way down.

            What my car needed!

This was exactly what my Mustang was missing. It was fairly easy to install and it looks completely like it’s been there since the factory roll out! It hasn’t changed the performance of the clutch at all and was just what I needed! Thank you AM for a great part and great service!

            Short and Sassy

Great product, when you're 5ft 3'' tall and you don't want to have to drive with the seat all the way up this is absolutely required! Undetectable and flawless, a 2 minute install to save your dignity.

            Amazing product!

I just got the car and learned how to drive stick on it. I am a short guy, so pushing in an already pretty stiff clutch is not the easiest thing to do 100 times. I decided to buy this extension, and I was not disappointed! This makes driving my car so much easier and more enjoyable. If you’re having trouble with your clutch or find you leg sore after 30 minutes of driving, I highly recommend this product.

Perfect just not for me yet

Great quality and easy install. Didn’t have problems putting the cover back on the pedal like others have said. Don’t know if it’s different for the 18 but it slipped off and onto the new one in less than two minutes. I’m 5’ 10 and wanted to move the seat back since my knees are always hitting the steering wheel but I just couldn’t get used to it and switched back. This would be perfect if you’re shorter I’ll probably give it another shot at some point. Took all of 6 minutes to put on and stays on nice and tight

            NOT BILLET

This product is not billet. why they think it is okay to put a plastic extension on a clutch pedal with two puny screws is beyond me. AM you need to look at the description as it is deceptive on both your end and the manufacturer. Even their packaging arrived with Modern Billet on it. Opened it and in the directions it stated ABS plastic. you had to look for it. Totally baited on this. not happy.

            A little bit helps!!

Doesn’t seem like much but the inch or so does help clutch travel. I highly recommend along with the reduced tension clutch spring.

            Clutch Pedal Extension

This product worked even better then i expected. Being over 6 feet tall but still having to move the seat up to depress the clutch correctly was really a pain. This item has eliminated that need and i now sit all the way back as safely away from the airbag as i can now. It looks and feels factory. Could not be happier!
