Description
Valve Train Component. The Comp Cams Hi-Tech Pushrods, measuring 7.425 inches in length and sold as a set of 16, provide essential support within the engine's valve train system by transferring motion between the camshaft and rocker arms. Construction and Appearance. Constructed from seamless chromemoly tubing with a .080" wall thickness, these pushrods offer superior strength and durability. The precision-formed ends have added thickness at critical stress points, are heat-treated for maximum toughness, and finished with a black oxide coating for corrosion resistance. OD ground for dimensional consistency, each pushrod features laser-etched length and part numbers on the outer diameter for easy identification.
Installation. Installation requires standard mechanical skills with no additional drilling or modifications needed to engine components. These pushrods are designed as direct replacements and are fully compatible with guide plates to ensure straightforward installation.
