What's going on guys? I'm Alex with americanmuscle.com. And today I'm bringing you my quick review and breakdown of the Distressed Flag Quarter Window Decal in flat black, fitting all 2010 through 2014 Mustang Coupes. So the Distressed Flag Quarter Window Decal that I have here today should definitely appeal to all of our customers here at americamuscle.com that want to take their Mustang to the next level in terms of patriotism, as it's gonna be damn near impossible to do so because you're driving the original pony car. So this should also appeal to the owners out there that don't necessarily wanna pay for a custom paint job, do custom red, white, and blue vinyl down the sides of your car, or, you know, dress like me on the weekends. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but for someone that still wants to have the ability to still see out of their quarter windows because getting into a set of quarter window louvers or scoops, while they look good, you're still gonna be losing that blind spot. But all jokes aside here, guys, the Distressed Quarter Window Decal that we have here today has been received very well on the website. You can see it not only here, but with the S550 Jan as it's just easy to see why, for any Mustang owner out there that wants to show their love and appreciation for this great country that we live in. So not only is this gonna be a cooler styling add-on, but like I said previously, guys, in comparison to a set of scoops or even louvers, those are gonna get up there in terms of the pricing. And again, you are really gonna be missing that blind spot. But still with this, you're gonna have the ability to peak whenever you need to just to make sure when you're changing lanes that you're not gonna have another car there. Now with that said, construction and materials-wise here, guys, we predominantly use a four mll style vinyl, which means that it's gonna be that much more strong than a calendered style vinyl. Something what you typically see high-end exotic cars being wrapped with. Something I like about this one, it's gonna have a clear coat side despite this being a flat or a matte black, it's not gonna be glossy, but it's there to mainly just to protect the material itself. And then on the reverse side, it's gonna have something called an air release technology which is pretty cool. It essentially means that it's not gonna fight you when you're stretching it out using a squeegee, putting it on your window, kinda like I'm pretty familiar with vinyl that's come out over the past 15 years or so.Pricing-wise here, you should expect to be spending 30 bucks for the set, which in my opinion, small price to pay to show just how patriotic you are, especially in comparison to getting into a set of quarter window louvers or scoops, which don't get me wrong, I absolutely love them, but if you're just looking for something quick, could be a great add-on. Switching gears to the installation portion of video or lack thereof. Like I said up top, you're looking at a very easy one outta three wrenches in the difficulty meter, and about a few minutes just to get this on. Looking ahead, some things I'd make sure to have on hand here would be small water bottle with a little bit of soap in there, couple microfibers, and a little bit of patience. Now to start, what you're gonna wanna do is take that water bottle with the soapy mixture and then lightly mist your quarter windows, and that's gonna be so that once you get this on and get it in place, you can move it around a little bit, but you know, I gotta tell you that this is cut to shape, I don't really think you're gonna have that much trouble. But it's just a good idea to spray that on the window before you squeegee everything out and then dry it down. But once that's done, it's merely working all that moisture and air bubbles out, and if you're in a warm part of the country, stick the car in the sun, let it sit for a little bit. If you're working out of a garage or a shop, no matter where, take a hair dryer to it, I would just make sure not to put the hairdryer all the way up onto it because it's gonna cause the material to shrink. Heating that up is gonna essentially make the adhesive side stick to the window that much better. And once you're done there, very, very carefully pull from one corner all the way to the other one, and then if you have something like a credit card or the provided squeegee tool, what you can do is you can peel it up and then drag it like that. All right guys, so just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts. If you're the Mustang owner that wants to incorporate a little bit more of a patriotic look onto your car but you're not too keen on losing your quarter windows to a set of expensive scoops, I would definitely recommend checking this out for your car. I'm Alex and that's my quick review of the Distressed Flag Quarter Window Decal in matte or flat black, fitting all 2010 through 2014 Mustang Coupes, available only here at americanmuscle.com.
