Use Bracket 8031 for 1972-78 port exit. Dimensions 1.60" W x 1.94" T. Will not fit under stock hood of Corvette (1964-67), Chevelle (1964-67), or Camaro (1967-81). Use RTV sealant such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone Sealant 1076 for proper sealing of end seals; do not use end seal gaskets. Hardened washers must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum. _x000D_

Description
Performance Intake Manifold. The Edelbrock Performer RPM 2-O Big Block Chevy Intake Manifold is engineered to enhance airflow and combustion efficiency for street 396-502 c.i.d. Chevy V8 engines. It improves horsepower while maintaining strong torque and driveability for street applications. This manifold is designed for use with large oval-port cylinder heads and supports late-model components like HEI ignition and air-conditioning.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high-quality aluminum, this intake manifold features a satin finish that provides a sleek and durable surface. The dual-plane design offers optimized air distribution for improved engine performance, delivering a balanced combination of power and torque.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with no need for drilling, designed to fit specific engine configurations. Proper sealing is achieved using recommended RTV silicone sealant, and hardened washers must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent aluminum galling.
_x000D_Warranty. This product includes a 12-month warranty.
_x000D_Application. Designed specifically for Chevrolet Big-Block Mark IV engines with displacements of 396, 402, 427, 454, and 502 cubic inches. It will not fit under the stock hoods of Corvette (1964-67), Chevelle (1964-67), and Camaro (1967-81) models due to clearance issues.
