Performance Handling. These Eibach Pro-Kit Progressive Rate Springs will lower your Mustang's center of gravity, reducing body roll in the turns, squat during acceleration, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. A set of Eibach Springs are great for daily driving, street, and even track use.

Classic Muscular Stance. Not only does a set of Eibach Pro Kit Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve it's overall appearance by lowering the ride height to eliminate the huge tire to fender gap, for a classic muscular stance.
    • Lowers 1999-2001 Coupe: Front - 1.4", Rear - 1.4"
    • Lowers 1999-2001 Convertible: Front - 1.5", Rear - 1.5"

Progressive Design. Eibach's proprietary progressive spring design provides the ultimate balance to deliver aggressive good looks and high performance handling, without ever compromising safety or ride quality.

Recommended Upgrade. When installing new springs you should also replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators, see drop down option above.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Eibach Pro Springs are specifically designed for use on both the coupe and convertible 1999 to 2001 SVT Cobra with independent rear suspension (IRS).

    Ask a Question

Will these springs be too low to fit a 305/35/18 on a 99 cobra? If so, whats the biggest size tire I could fit? And also is there a lowering spring that drops less that 1.4"?

When ordering the isolators do they come in pairs or do I need to order one for each spring?

    • They do come in pairs so you would only need to order (1) of each, front and rear, for a complete set!

      Not low

I will admit the springs improved the handling. I pulled some HandRs out that had a great lowered stance installed the Eibachs. Now the car looks like a 4X4 but handles 100 better. Oh well they are installed now.

      Lowering springs

About an inch and a quarter lower than the stock. Just the right height.

I had the springs installed by my mechanic. Twenty years ago I would have done this myself. I was told that it was a simple install. This was apparent by the low labor cost.

      Great upgrade

These springs are a nice upgrade over stock. The drop is nice, and the ride quality greatly improved. The factory should have installed variable rate springs

      Well worth getting

you cant go wrong with these springs! the improvement in handling and the over all look was better than expected! they made my 2001 Cobra look great and set the height where it should have been from the factory. if you are on the fence about this just do it! of all the conversions I have done this one was the best bang for the buck.

      Perfect Stance

With the IRS I was worried any lowering would put the tailpipes on the ground but, this set was the perfect amount and gave my Cobra a perfect stance. Not too low.. just the right amount!!

      Right tool for the job

This is a great product to install on your car to improve ride and proformance. A little harder to install than what the directions say with a true cobra with IRS. But with the basic tools and one tool to rent(coil string compressor) the job will take a few hrs after the first spring is removed.

      LOOKS GREAT!!!

The install is a bit annoying at times but if you have two people working on it (like it suggests) its not too bad. Took me and a friend about 6 hours from start to finish. Could not be happier with the outcome!! Well done Eibach!!

      Rides Awesome

The cobra handles even better with the new springs and looks good too but not as low as i was would have liked. It lowered about a 1.1/4" in the front and rear which makes a difference but still has a good gap in the fender. Overall good product, takes curves much better and dosent squat half as bad. Instalation wasnt bad and once we had the right spring compressor to get the old ones out it was pretty simple.
