      Description

Performance Handling. These Eibach Pro-Kit Progressive Rate Springs will lower your Mustang's center of gravity, reducing body roll in the turns, squat during acceleration, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. A set of Eibach Springs are great for daily driving, street, and even track use.

Classic Muscular Stance. Not only does a set of Eibach Pro Kit Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve it's overall appearance by lowering the ride height to eliminate the huge tire to fender gap, for a classic muscular stance.
      • Lowers 1999-2001 Coupe: Front - 1.4", Rear - 1.4"
      • Lowers 1999-2001 Convertible: Front - 1.5", Rear - 1.5"

Progressive Design. Eibach's proprietary progressive spring design provides the ultimate balance to deliver aggressive good looks and high performance handling, without ever compromising safety or ride quality.

Recommended Upgrade. When installing new springs you should also replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators, see drop down option above.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Eibach Pro Springs are specifically designed for use on both the coupe and convertible 1999 to 2001 SVT Cobra with independent rear suspension (IRS).

        5 2001 Cobra - shockwavef399 Installation Time: Weekend

great springs for an 01 cobra

well they do what there supposed to, got 1 1/2 inch drop all around. sits 27 1/2' from ground to bottom of fender in the front, was 29, and 28' from ground to the top of rear wheel well in the back, was 29 1/2. i used new isolator's on the top for the front springs but had to reuse the bottoms because the SVE ones i ordered are garbage and split when i wrapped them around the spring so beware of that brand. and i could only find the bottom isolator for the bottom of the rear spring and just resused the top. my car is garage kept with only 48k on it so the stock isolators were still in perfect shape. ride quality is about the same just a little more firm. but the car in more planted now and looks a lot better.

        Sits perfect

I have a 99 cobra convertible and when I bought it, it had h$r springs. It sat so low it was cutting brake lines and was kinda undrivable. I put these on and now it sits perfect and rides so much better. I would highly recommend.

        Eibach are great!

Previous owner of my 99 cobra convertible had HandR springs on it. Car sat super low and while it looked awesome I lost a lot of drivability and I bottomed out on everything. These eibachs gave me both the height and the lowered look and function I needed. They ride great. Completely happy with them and of course American Muscle.

4 1999 Cobra - Ron Installation Time: Afternoon

        Not low

I will admit the springs improved the handling. I pulled some HandRs out that had a great lowered stance installed the Eibachs. Now the car looks like a 4X4 but handles 100 better. Oh well they are installed now.

        Lowering springs

About an inch and a quarter lower than the stock. Just the right height.

        Springs

I had the springs installed by my mechanic. Twenty years ago I would have done this myself. I was told that it was a simple install. This was apparent by the low labor cost.

When ordering the isolators do they come in pairs or do I need to order one for each spring?
